I can’t tell if they don’t care to take our money? Because if this is a cash grab and leave they should implement tp first. . . so strange. I wonder if they are just making us thirsty and then release the tp for us to overdose.
I just dont agree with that general sentiment. That is probably the point of contention.
I see that as a challenge of managing resources. Which does not nosedive my enjoyment, but instead is welcomed as a hurdle to overcome.
I also acknowledge, TP bundles will be here very soon, so I think this is relatively a non issue.
Also it is odd, for Zip to pop his head in here. So many of his posts are about how he feels IMC has ripped him off because they did not meet his expectations when spending money. But a thread about spending more money… odd.
You would think this would be a pro based on that. Let players see what the game has to offer totaaally f2p. If they dont like it, they havent spent a dime and can leave without some sunk cost fallacy. Rather than feeling totally ripped off.
They should’ve made buying TP available since day 1 early access and already have lost a lot of money because they didn’t, they also lose a lot from small cash shop and few costumes/no special effects to buy. We can only assume they really don’t care about the money and are putting all their focus on improving ToS.
Maybe they listened too closely to those threads where people felt they werent getting their monies worth.
Also right now, looks like servers are down. To me thats alot more unacceptable than “why cant I throw money at you”.
The reverse psychology cash grab. So crazy it just might work!
If the TP shop was up, then people would cry “IMC hasn’t even fixed the problems with the game and TP purchase is available from day 1. IMC confirmed greedy and doesn’t care about any of the problems the game has.”
Damned if they do, damned if they don’t.
That’s not even the worst part. The game is not on the new releases list for its F2P release, THAT’S a potential game killer. There’s a way you can make Steam re-list your games on the new releases when coming out of Early Access, I’ve seen it happen with other titles. They really need to contact Valve and get this fixed, because lots of people downloaded the game when it was ‘released’ for early access and couldn’t play it because they didn’t buy the DLC (and left negative reviews saying the game didn’t work, lol), but now that it’s actually F2P nobody who isn’t following the game has a way of knowing.
This is such a painful oversimplification. People complain no matter what, therefore lets bury our heads in the sand and ignore major issues that will rightfully harm the games reputation permanently?
I have never seen anyone complain, “they didnt offer us ways to spend money in a f2p game” as a long lasting major reputation destroying complaint. As maybe a shortlived complaint sure, but not the way you described it.
It’s usually the opposite, “this company is greedy, its p2w, why does a costume cost 30 dollars”; that stick to games and their longer lasting reputations.
Anyways,
Since we went way out to left field, back on topic.
Are you seriously trying to tell me that IMC’s decision in making people wait a bit before allowing them to purchase TP will “rightfully harm the games reputation permanently”?
You can stop making a mountain out of a molehill now.
And Wierdest client… “Steam must be running to play this game. SteamAPInitfailed” bakit yung mga accounts ay may error na ganyan?

They might be waiting until next weeks maintenance, they’re definitely currently in the works of trying to get an account bound system going for premium items.
How can you farm 100-200k/h at 140-150?
Varv skin farming?
It’s a bad move regardless of the reason, assuming there even is one beyond “we notified steam to add our TP system at the last second and they didn’t.”
Many of you are greatly undervaluing first impressions. Right now thousands are judging the gameplay without a token because low and behold, they couldn’t get one. This results in a horrible first impression to the general public which causes many that were on the fence to forget this game ever existed. I thought this crap was common sense but I was clearly mistaken.
Yes you are clearly mistaken.
Very solid argument.
The majority of those that would buy TP for a token already bought a Founders Pack, and thus already have a token activated.
I am cornholio. I need TP for my bunng hole
