Don’t really get the reasoning behind that. All classes can ride TP shop mounts, isn’t that just as unfair in that case? Except in this case you dont have to pay for it using rl cash. Could be a nice feature for players to obtain a ride able mount for everyone.

Haha yea i get that. But since the option already exist you cant really use that argument as a reason to not make all classes ride it. What they should have stated is “If you want to ride, pay up sucker!”
It’s not as if its that easy getting the pig I assume, so people would still buy the pets from the TP shop. And they also give some decent buffs.
I agree, but then again its all silver pet for one vs TP pet for all…

we ended up considering the possibility of it hurting the uniqueness of mounted classes, and that’s when we put the restrictions in place
hold water now that TP pets exist and are ride by all classes

not really, well not 100% as you can still get TP for free in events +5 (its 10x slower than throwing money at the screen)…
though I do dislike that TP pets have extra bonus instead of extra cuteness 
I think if they wanted to say it in a way that wasn’t dickish they should have said. TP pets are a convenience for non-combat travel.
They really did word that wrong.
I agree with that… The bird mount in particular I think is too good. 300 SP recovery or whatever it has… It’s pretty nutty.
We can’t feed the hamster so mounted classes get nothing from riding it anyway. Those cash shop pets are rideable by everyone and can be fed, and give extra bonuses.

You cant use those pets for combat? even if you are class that do mounted combat?
Well you can but there stats are worse as combat pets then the base pets. Though I remember something from kToS about them getting an extra armor slot or some such with the pet equipment system was implemented over there. So hunters probably want a TP pet. Or hampster whichever had the double weapon slot.
So currently they are weaker as combat pets. So they could get away with that statement ftm.

If we talking about pet eq. There was a rumors that effect from items like evasion or something added to our attributes. Busted or confirmed this myth?
