Please be more consistent with your maintenance, i know it is supposed to start on 1am tuesday est but sometimes you do the 1h and 30 mins warning that the weekly maintenance is going to be there, sometimes you do it 10 mins earlier, and sometimes like today, there is no warning, thats really confusing and unprofessional.
Another thing is that it does not always start at exactly 1am in game clock time, today for example it started one minute too early, when , i am sure i am not the only one, most people do last stuff in towns, setting up shops, putting stuff to market, using their free tp etc.
If you do a maintenance that occurs weekly, please have the same routine for it each week, 1h and 30 mins and 10 mins warnings are great for people who do not remember about maintenance, but you have to do it each week, not when you feel like it.
And please start it at 1am if you say its 1am, not kinda around that time.

Edit: Maybe people arent “missing” the warnings, it might be a bug? Not everyone sees the warnings weekly.

Every maintenance i hear people say this and every maintenance i was there and saw the warning. This time though, i wasnt online so i cant comment, but from what i can tell people just miss it.

Also, your complaining it started 1 minute early? -.-

Maybe plan ahead of time. The maintenance is always at this time unless they say otherwise.

Id be on your side about the warnings if there actually were no warnings… but like i said ive seen people say this before when there actually was warnings.

it is not at the same time, normally it starts at 1am, but on rare occassions it starts differently
and no i was there all the time, i would be able to see the big red message on screen and in the chat

maybe the warnings do not go to all clients, did you ever think about that?

Just your weekly maintenance cancer. I’m dumbfounded by the number of people who “don’t remember” about the maintenance, how do you not remember there’s a maintenance. It’s weekly it should be unconsciously remembered by now.

Protip: don’t do things in the last minute

today was memorial day so it felt like sunday instead of monday, but really we dont have to remember about it every second we grind etc, thats why they do the warnings, unfortunatelly they do not seem to be sent every week or not everyone gets them

also last minute is ok if they were doing their maintenance more consistently, they do say its every week at 1am, not 12:59, not 1:03, so my planning was to buy a warp scroll at 12:58, and i was unable to and got disconnected at 12:59
well my bad then, they started maintenance almost 2 minutes before time and not just one
it seems like not a lot but sit there and count 120 secs and you will see its quite a long time :confused:

They take the time to announce when they will do it and at what time before hand, yet you make such a selfish request.

the problem is they do not always announce it in the game, or their system is flawed and it does not display it for all
wish you guys would read the post before answering, but as long as you help me explain it to the gms its fine…

lol so much of this.

i was playing, and suddenly i was disconnected, and like “oops, lemme just reconnect… wait a second. oh, it’s that time isn’t it.”

why on earth would you wait this late? every MMO ever recommends being offline about 10 minutes before scheduled shutdown time… because there’s always the possibility of them being a couple of minutes early.

on top of that, these “they were a minute early!” or “i didn’t see the announcement in game!” complaints seem to happen every week. if you can’t learn from the past and adapt to it, then enjoy suffering from it every week.

lmao, wouldn’t that be nice? if you figure out -how-, then you’ll get crazy rich xD

its called trying to get as much money from loot before going to bed, i started to do everything 10-5 mins in advance and tp shop was my last step, you say to be prepared early but there is nowhere written that the WEEKLY SCHEDULED maintenance is starting early/late, says 1am, should be 1am

i shouldnt have to stop playing 1h in advance just in case, also noone recommends 10 minutes of doing nothing, thats just what you made up because it works for you in this case :wink:

yea, not 10 minutes of “doing nothing”.
10 minutes of “logged off already, and doing something else.”

heck, a lot of older games actually stopped saving data ~15 minutes before shutdown, which made for some amusing times when people would suddenly start spamming their limited one-shot event whatevers just for fun because the server wasn’t saving any more, so whatever they “used” would just be forgotten.

Most games do recommend you to log off earlier than the maintenance time because not in all occasions does it “save” properly.

I’m just amazed that you’re complaining over 2 minutes, lol. I would hate to be your friend in real life. If I arrive 2 minutes early to meeting you, you’d probably make a forum post about it…!
