have 6 r7 classes, 2 maxed
all i can say is unless IMC makes grinding a bit user friendly after 210+(increase exp rates,more quests etc)population will drop…
among 10 of my friends only two of us ended up playing to 280
most of them quit after advancing to r7

Well the only pro I see for ToS is I can drop ‘subscription’ for a period of time to relax until I’m ready to ‘resubscribe’ and rush again. The free model isn’t that bad since we can still do all of the things just at a smaller scale.
Currently am at 5 characters and am already struggling to complete the 15dgs per day. Still need to run saalus and ET… .arrrgh.

thing is token can be bought without TP anyway(there is always a stock there)

-patching speed ,games like WoW ffxiv fixes bugs exploits faster
-events moar events
-f2p mmorpg tends to die after they milked enough profits or failed miserably
as opposed to these subscrip games look at Wow, FFxiv heavensward etc
they just continue with the Dlcs,
-punishment for bots,rmt are strict for these types of games ,therefore less bots etc
-server stability, fps optimization

i just do for two characters only because the loading after loading after loading is so triggering me lol

Same here, 2 characters worth of dg runs is more than enough for me. My lower level characters have it worse as they need to do full DG runs until at least level 200.
Yeah now with new quests added in it should be able to least bring most characters to circle 7. So glad they added quests this time, a lot of help to my no-one-want-to-party-with archer build.
in korea there are lot of competitions among the mmorpg developers.some other korean developers will take out the good mechanics from Tos artstyle etc develop into an another mmorpg with better system ,marketing etc
and Boom! people will jump into that game.Currently Ktos is like a desert now
dont get me wrong i love this game art,ost ,mechanics but imc really needs to step up asap
And with the coming of Lost Ark online(expect west release is 2017, korean is fall 2016) u will see many people abandoning this game
just look at that game its has everything an mmorpg should have(for now)
We do not need compensation. What we need is a solution to issues and bugs and more investment in the game from IMC.
In short words:
In game GM? = Yes
Free resets? = No
Stats Reset potion in the TP store? = Yes
Class Reset? = No
Bots getting perma rekt? = Yes
More information from the game for database? = Yes
Game breaking bug exploiters getting perma rekt? = Yes
Fast fix for common problems like party members getting stuck always after a quest? = Yes
And maybe some decent propaganda.
p.s: I will not even talk about fixing Classes and buffing some useless skills.
I actually agree completely that class resets should be in the game. Having to re-roll characters due to major game changes after months of investment into attributes is why this game is so stunted and likely won’t ever get out of the slump it’s in. People who think this is acceptable don’t understand that most people don’t want to have to repeat the same process for months to get to the same point they were before. It doesn’t magically make it fun to do so because it was known about in kToS that major game changes were in the works as characters had already been invested on. Most people have quit the game because of this, so bragging about already rerolling only shows your personal dedication to a game most people would rather quit due to how things have been handled. That doesn’t prove a point other than you are willing to suffer for this game, which amounts to nothing in regard to what would actually help the game and keep its playerbase thriving.
The point of a mmo is to have fun, in-case this was forgotten, not numb yourself to a second job because IMC makes constant mistakes. I mean, why would the vast majority of gamers trying out the game redo the same repetitive grind here when they can merely play a different game? This is in-conjunction to constant bugs, constant exploits, constant botting, from a game that was marketed as a release version. There is also no real negative to class-resets being implemented during choice moments in the game. No one loses anything by people who no longer care for their characters post-patch being able to change their class structure. The biggest argument against it are people feeling butthurt that they were willing to reroll when others weren’t. And this same crowd says everyone else is crying, really? Sorry, but not everyone is willing to be bored for months redoing the same process like some of you are, in-fact, most people aren’t and they have quit because of it. You may not care about these people personally, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t care because a mmo needs players to make money, and thus continue to operate and come out with content faster and more efficiently.
And for those saying, “Oh, it only took ME a week to get to 280 and get my dmg attributes to 100% again! LOLOLo1l41o4i1houifgh.” Congrats at having enough free time to be in the top 1%. slow claps Too bad that isn’t relevant at all to the other 99% of people who play the game. rolls eyes Unless you think they are going to keep the servers open for the 30 or 40 people that applies to, I don’t even get the point of saying something like that.
Just like seasonal anime, I mean, name five korean born MMO that’s played thru some pay to play subscription tha’s been strong for more than at least half a decade, RO was one but their pay to play did’t last long.
