I’m an older player too. Love grind games, but just spent so much time getting to where im at now, seeing all these maps infested with bots, I just cant motivate myself to reroll.

Take a break, do yourself some favor and play some old games, Crash Bandicoot or Crash Bash perhaps, bishi bashi or maybe some RPG Breath of Fire series?

I guess none of you have EVER played Path of Exile, ever, they get profit from the cash shop but everytime they change skills or how stats works or passives you get full reset your chars so you keep the levels and the points to re-build as you see fit for the new changes… i guess it is fair

Well… that makes sense, no? You need to be strong (to have strength) to pierce a armor or shield with your melee weapon of choice.
I know it’s a game and they could base it on whatever they want but, in my opinion, that would be weird for a “rpg”.
We need compensation for the following reasons
I don’t think “WE” need compensations of any sort. If they give us a cookie, fine, if not I’m ok. Either way I’m ok.
2# Bots everywhere.
I don’t care about bots, I just block and report them and let them do their job.
1# We get STUCK in every cutshene when playing with friends.
Yes, I agree that party is broken at the moment. Hope they fix it soon. Calm down and give them time. We don’t know about their daily lives.
Remember: always innocent until proven guilty.
In the end what we have is that the game is free. So enjoy it as it is or stop playing it and spend your spare time with better things. Also, if it has reached the point of making you feel bad then it’s time to stop playing it. Games are supposed to be fun, in the first place.

It has been iterated many times by many other players but I’ll still say it.
ToS != Path to Exile/D2/D3
Each game has its own unique merits and flaws. Some rich in lore, some great in action, some allows infinite skill resets, some prefer the “abide to your choices” path.
That said, ToS is a game where the developers want the players to make a choice and live with it. This is why they say it is a hard thing to do as they have not considered it in their design phase. The demograph of the audience they hope to get are those who aligns with their game concept.
The no-reset thing comes with ToS as a whole package, along with the 80 unique classes (to be) and fantastic top-down action style game (like Ys).
ToS is not on a monthly subscription where the developers are compelled to deliver the product suited to all its subscribers. ToS is a free to play game, if it doesn’t offers what you want or conforms to your vision of the perfect game, feel free to pursue greener pastures.
