Of course he is. And a flying pig just stole my blanket.
Iām Cyromancer Level 38 and Iām FULL CON and OHKO mobs 10+ level above me. But thatās on a ~20 sec cooldown, so yeah, Ice Spike is OP if well played but itās not like I can spam Ice Spike all day.
My auto attack hit for nothing. Ice Spike x2 wait 20 sec kill a bunch of mobs rinse and repeat. Meanwhile you swordies go around attacking everything.
Unless your friend is a magician, Iām sure he canāt kill monsters constantly.
I donāt know much about swordsman but Iām pretty sure your friends just kill when he does Ice Spike.
Except Ice Spike we Cyromancer do nearly zero damage until Cryo Circle 3.

Yeah but not going hoplite, im going Cataphract.
Hey,
how do you exactly see what monsters is weak against what weapon type?
Grats on the RMT man.
People have been saying Concentrate is bad because it truly is at high levels.
Concentrate only adds the damage amount to your final damage.
Letās say you had max skill level 15, which is +26 damage, plus max attributes (+100 damage) = +126 damage overall.
At low levels, you might do 500 damage per skill. 500 + 126 = 626 damage.
Sounds good right?
At high levels, you might do 5000 damage per skill. 5000 + 126 = 5126. Much less noticeable. Not to mention your buff slots are limited, in a party youād rather leave that buff slot open for a much more useful buff from a cleric instead.
Itās based on the armor type.
Anyway, when you hit a monster with a weapon, if itās weak to that damage type, you will get a popup of āPierce +50%ā (spear, dagger, rapier), āSlash +50%ā (swords) or āStrike +50%ā (mace)
Ranged weapons have a special āMissileā damage.
so just hit a mob once, if it shows the +50% popup, you got it, keep using that weapon on it.
For obvious reasons, swordsmans are best at exploiting these weaknesses, followed by str/dex based cleric builds.
Most times itās obvious based on how the monster looks like. If itās a monster that looks like itās made out of stone or something, itās almost certainly weak to strike damage. In iCBT I used to make guesses before I attack a monster that I see for the first time and I was usually right with my guesses.
But yeah, just switch out weapons and hit it to figure it out, if itās not obvious.
