I’m not sure why you are worried about your damage output since you have a significant role in your party: Aggro, while your friends AoE them down. Dealing damage is not always the key of succeeding in a teamplay.

Nope, you’ll have to pay for the skill restart. In Korean ToS they had a lot of tp events though, but I’m not sure if it will be the same here.
I’m at lvl 30 and grinding in lvl 40 monsters, all my skills hit 400+ and I simple didn’t improved anything, even the extra skills, I didn’t bought them.
My character is following the quests and STR is a must if you wanna keep leveling up grinding…
Swordsman / Highlander
Highlander is an overtuned class, that’s why everything is easier. He’s playing a hoplite, which is good, but not nearly as strong as highlander in early levels, it takes a bit of time to hit the power spike with hoplite path.
You’re also comparing 2h to a 1h weapon.
If anything he should compare High>Doppel to Hop>Dragoon with 2h mastery.
Talking about classes being underpowered at lv40 when they haven’t tried late game builds and haven’t looked up class synergies is pointless. What a circle has in the kit is what you get till you mix and match other professions.

Pretty much.
I’ll be doing hop>dragoon at some point, the sweet finestra cover for the crit and full str build, with 2h spear mastery. I can already see the bosses melting. * _ *

Sword -> X (Highlander mostly?) -> X C2 -> Hop C1 -> Hop C2 -> Hop C3 -> Dragoon ?
I’m struggling with the rank 2 choice, hate highlanders. Hate the outfit, hate how overtuned it is. Wish there was more choices on rank 2 for offensive builds.
sword > X (c2 sw most likely, extending the buffs) > hop > hop > hop > doppel > dragoon.
Exactly how I feel. I seen a video of a level 7x Warrior riding a mount (forget name now) and it seemed so strong (still hoping it will be), but my Hoplite will full dex level 59 is soooooooooo weak in comparison to others I see.
lol m8 go full dex highlander and spam skills , then either go barb or hoplite
once you hit 150 dex pump some other stats as you see fit.Str prefferably.
Every other class pales compared to swordsman still.

Dex on hoplite is pointless. You get free +150 crit if you’re c3, going full strength is the best way to go for a c3 hoplite. You can add extra 50 dex points if you really want to, for a bit more crit frequency, but it’s not really needed.
im only going C2 hoplite so im adding 50 dex rest goes str 
Yeah, that’s pretty much what I’m doing with my corsair, as well. Might go 100 dex, though. I’ll see if I like my crit rate on +150, if I don’t, i’ll continue on to +200.
All I have to say, Hoplites do Damage in increments, such as Pierce hitting multiple times in a short amount of time, and Stabbing hitting per hit. No idea what you’re doing, but I’m hitting 400+ with Cartar Stroke level 20 as a Sword<Highlander with a +2 Flamberge, 10 Str, 28dex currently.

Haven’t read everything but yeah whoever told u that conc is ■■■■ just trolled u hard 
I can tell u what i do to get dem damages rollin 
1: Got Conc up to 40
2: Get Platemastery
3: The Peltasta Active Block is godlike for mobbing
4: Max Swash Buckling Max HP since u can keep up the buff 100%
5: i didnt go for much dex (1point in finestra equals 10dex (atleast for crit)) my current build is 4str 2con 1dex
6:Try to use all ur abilitys
6.1 My “rotation” > Selfbuffs > Swash Buckling + positioning running > active block till everything arrives > Stabbing > if anything still alive u can use Umbo Blow (more then 2 mobs) or just auto attack em down
this playstyle is a bit sp heavy but in later levels u dont need that much sp pots just make sure u allways have enough pots and bonfires on u

oh and if u find the person who told u that conc is ■■■■… tell him that only 1 charge of conc (out of the 20) is used for the whole fkn stabbing wich is just tons of dmg

This entire thread is pointless. I went the full mage dps route (into pyromancer2) and while it is in fact very strong, I am certainly not 1 shotting mobs unless they are very low hp mobs that everyone 1 shots.
It’s inexcusable in this age of the internet with a game that comes with BUILT IN video recording that this guy couldn’t have shown us a video of what his wizard buddy is doing. I 100% guarantee that he isn’t 1 shotting regular hp mobs 10 levels above him.
i couldnt really care less if u believe me or not my friend whos a chyromancer is one shotting mobs 10 lvls above him
