Wanting to Make a Fletcher3

So Ive always really liked Fletcher and ive wanted to make one for a very long time…
The problem is that Im not as well versed in the Archer tree as i am with Swordie and Clerics…

So what is a good Build and Stat allocation for a Fletcher 3 who wants to use only 2H bows and I really don’t wan to use Ranger or Sapper >_>

Thanks In Advance~

If you skipp Ranger C1 you are just shooting yourself in the leg.

It seems like the current meta for Fletcher are:
Archer 2, Ranger 1, Scout 1, Fletcher 3.

what exactly are you getting from ranger 1?
steady aim is only 10% at lvl 5, its not a huge game changer
and barrage has super low dmg at lvl 5

Ar 2 R1 Sc 1 (my current main) is tedious to level even when you get to fletcher. tho having invisibility is kinda neat.

you might want to consider these pre-fletcher combinations

a2 sap 2
a1 qs3
a2 x wu 2

I was thinking to probably do this

Edit: I REALLY Wanted to work Hunter in there just for the Costume… but I have no space…
.-.

Though its not like Scout is 100% required >_>

Why max kneeling shot? I dont think it would be useful for you because at higher levels you’d mostly be using skills. Leave crossfire at level 4/5 and max broadhead and barbed. Crossfire damage sucks so bad it only good at clearing low-hp mobs while broadhead and barbed deals a lot of damage against single target/bosses and can be good aoe paired with a linker.

Scout is not needed but it really improves the quality of life due to the cloaking, flare shot add some extra dps against bosses, and barrel block some boss skills.

If you really want hunter, you can go A2>H1>S1>F3.

i would really like to know what A2 R1 Scout 1 does tho…i’ve seen the myth buster in the forum and its seems like they just want the bonus movement speed when cloaking so fletcher can find bosses easily. I myself currently is a A2 R1 Scout 1… i don’t really find this build good except for moving around the map with cloaking. I would like to know what this build trying to accomplish. Any A2 R1 Scout 1 Fletchers out there mine explaining?

like you said, it’s mostly built for world bossing. if you’ve reached f2 or f3 i think you’ve noticed by now that boss fights mostly revolve around fletcher skills. the pre-fletcher ranks wouldn’t contribute much to your overall damage so we go with classes that offer utility. anything else would probably just be to ease leveling at lower levels.

@tonyostark

Yeh, basic rule of thumb in TOS
NEVER go for early game DPS classes unless they have skills that scale into the late game.
Or a late game class can capitalize on the skills of the early game DPS class.

Eh… You really use Magic arrow for bosses…
And Crossfire clears just fine from what I’ve seen
Barbed arrow is great but broad head does the same dmg as barbed but without the multi hit on different armor types…
So there’s no need to max it if you have barbed

You’ll use both magic arrow and broadhead(the bleeding does a good amount of damage) most of the time against bosses. You can keep broadhead at level 10 for 100% uptime but you can also max it to increase the damage as well as the bleed effect. While barbed arrow is good, it’s not that effective against plate and ghost. Crossfire on the other hand doesnt deal that much damage, it doen’t help you that much in grinding parties, dungeon, or mission, so imo the points are better spent on other skills. Level 5 crossfire is good enough for me to grind silver in demon prison district2.

We will see, I can always pay the $10 to reset…
But I don’t really need to grind silver with my characters…

I have a corsair for that…
In fact 4/5 characters that I play are money makers…
Even Fletcher is a money maker now that I think about it…
It’s a damn world boss slayer
