Like this 16 year old game has far more interesting choice of headgears than the ones we have.
Obviously I’m not saying that we should have exact copies of these but srsly just look at it and compare it to the stuff you’ve done so far.

Bigger selection of Horns, much more different selection of animal ears and in different colors. Maybe a tails slot. Want to make fox and/or wolf theme’d tailed character. Also vote for theme’d hats but also hats with ear holes
Hair : Long wild Hairstyles that give off the feel of a mad scientist…over enthusiastic …alchemist brewing til they drop and having traces of potion material in the hair…
Or long/medium length wild mercenary hair from always being on an adventure killing creatures… .
Hair like this, either short or long hair at the back …for female character.

For hair accesories i’d like bao baos but not just one type, maybe a pair of cute ones and dark ones, here are some examples form the web
Also different styles of ribbons like one style that comes with two on the hair(a pair of black ones would be perfect) and pom-poms

Indeed a Cangaceiro hat would be really nice!!
Other good option is some Touhou inspired headgears. The thematic would be a good complement for the Miko and onmyouji classes.
Moreover, the Touhou fandom is huge!!
