Do note that compensation given to players during maintenance downtime isn’t for the time the players used, it is for the the potential loss of play hours in which the players have not spent yet. It is easy to provide compensation for such hours since no RNG is involved yet.
I’m interested to know what kind of compensation you think is fair and appropriate for rolling back the server.
How would you compensate a player who luckily got a Pora/Pore from a map gimmick cube during the rollback time? What about guilds/groups that painstakingly align their online time together for world boss fights and come back with good reward drops? What about players who could only spare little time to play and took the weekend to rush level their characters using x8 tomes? What about those who roll letitica cubes during that time and got what they want?
How would you compensate RNG luck streaks and effort used?
Fair compensation by reviewing manually case by case to sort out what each player gained and grant them that item/drop/exp again? How is that different from what IMC is doing now?
It is already bad that hacks happen and silver is injected into the economy. Please don’t make it worse by suggesting things like server rollback that disregard players’ efforts. It is a major taboo and will cause more discontent in the player community.
