I stopped playing my Barbsair when info about R8 swordsman came out. I just use that char for PvP and farming mats.

Since then, I started a sw3>rode>corsair which will become either a Fencer or Murmillo (it sucks to AA @ lvl 170…) and a hop2>corsair>doppel which will become a Dragoon. This one is close to lv 190 (I have many lv7 cards but I won’t use them all). Thing is: I really like CCs and fast hitting skills like Hexen Dropper so I can get in and out of fights (kiting).

Anyway, I’ll keep playing my Hopgoon for now. I don’t know anything about rank 9 but I know Hopgoon is better than Barbsair in PvE so it’s not all bad.

P.S.: I have started and deleted sw3>cata three times. How can you guys like playing on those “pets”? It feels so awkward…

Especially burst at first 3 secs of match

Imagine a scenario…dethrone will just go through that wall half screen away😄…end to end…x2😆
What if their is 2 or 3 drag2 in your team that is x6 in 3 secs before opposing team can even move hahaha evil laugh…

i dunno if you actually need sword 3 since dethrone has bind anyway(or did they remove it already because that was one ****ed bull). and you probably wont utilize restrain and pain barrier if you hide behind your teammate. I’m thinking you should go Hop3 and get more crit so you could one shot more archer and other 150 CON build out there. although I could be wrong since doppel one is good with sword 3

Dethrone is strong but you cannot just rely on it completely.
You will still use other skills like Dragontooth, Serpentine, Rush and Restrain is still good with those skills.
Pain Barrier also gives status resistance so that’s very useful in PVP as well.

no I’m basing it on the non-cata build, sword 3 does not seem necessary since it is not very mobile and have very hard time applying restrain. unless of course you are doppel since pain barrier + dash + cyclone from what I have seen is one vid is very effective in nullifying CC.
