Hi I want to build a SR3 with rogue 1 and I don’t like ranger C3.
Is this a viable alternative ? Am I better off going QRS3>Rogue ?

might be an alternative, its not as good though imo.
i might be biased because i’m not a fan of the rogue class, i like going high dex with swift step and not have to worry about expensive werewolf cards and/or being behind the opponent.
most of my archers have the archer c2 swift step attribute, i just like it better
QS 3 vs ranger 3 is a matter of preference, but definitely not wugushi instead.
1 str 1 dex archer 2 ranger 3 sr 2 is a less expensive (because sr is expesive anyways) alternative to the sr3 builds.
Wugushi is bad, dont go with it. The problem with it is in its scaling, not in its starting or silluiai mission performing.
The build you may be looking for is archer 2 ranger 1 X Rogue 1 SR3.
Rogue is only good in this build if you are fully decked in werewolf level 10 cards. Which are gonna cost quite a bit of time to get.
Feint barrage is risky, although at times and with the pet auto attack being able to be turned off, you can finally unleash this combo more frequently, and still have to deal with the unfilled hp when you remount because sure, you are feeding your pet arent you.
And wish that in the time you are unkounted, that the boss will not throw out any of its aoe or powerful attacks, because when you remount, you have to wait less than a second before moving again.
Only thing good from rogue for a mounted build is a werewolf card sneak hit, which will boost the damage of a sr3 waaay more overall when compared to what ranger 3 could do.
The main thing from ranger we use is spiral arrow, barrage and steady aim. Stead aim at level 10 will net you 15% more damage. At 15, 20%. You are giving up 5% damage for an overall boost to your entire crit chance that has a basic 10 seconds of downtime. Yes things are quite consistent.
This is a very expensive way and will take time to show its effects. The no-dex problem can be solved by awareness, though lag spikes will make sure you regret it anyways.
I wanna try this as well, but later, when my current sr2 and future to be sr 3 gets more geared you know.
I have 7x 10* werewolfs and I love it, thats why I want rogue in my build.
Now ranger 3 over ranger 1 is only for extra 10% missile damage, spiral arrow is ok. QRS3 lost alot of its value after the limacon changes.
Having a hard time here.
@Edit: Do you guys have an updated list of mounted skills so I can try to fill the archer 2>ranger>x>rogue gap ?
Skills that do not work whilst mounted:
Archer 2 - Kneeling Shot
Ranger 3 - All skills can be used whilst mounted
Rogue 1 - Feint, Capture and Vendetta are not gonna work whilst mounted.
There are some people that are gonna tell you this build sucks, but in fact, many of the people telling you this have not tested, there is a player that has the rogue1sr2 variant, i am seeking for an opportunity to speak with him and have his opinion on this matter.
And i would go ranger 2. What you want here is damage boost for your main skills.
Barrage.
Multi shot.
Concentrated Fire.
Retreat Shot.<<
Assault Fire.<<
Limacon.
Bear in mind i do not have this build, all i say is pure theorycraft, i need to speak with the guy that has this build.
10% extra missile damage is always nice if you have a Krivis 3 in your party.
Limacon isn’t as strong as Running Shot in single target damage.
In order to make Limacon effective, you need to invest into two Limacon attributes: spread shot (1.6m) and attack power enhance attribute (1-74m).
As for the thread, Wugu 1 is a no-no; even you need at least Wugu 2 to deal noticeable damage in pre rank 8.
If you go Rogue with 8 Werewolf cards, you might have to forfeit the combo of 8 Lv.10 Glass Mole cards + Steady Aim + Melstis.

Limacon seems a lot weaker and more expensive than running shot imo. At 0%, it hits for 3-4k crits; bounced hits have a way smaller range than oblique shot, so you usually won’t see it hit twice. You also lose the “double hits” you could have with auto attacks (if a mob was in the way of your bullet to the target, it’d hit it too. This doesn’t happen with limacon up).
As a filler, I’d rather use multi shot, tbh. The only use I find it is for PvP when hunting players down; for retreat shot, because it hits mobs without interrupting your hits (just like oblique shot and heavy shot, but without slowing you down) and for an auto aim while using marching fire without interrupting it. But the damage of the skill itself doesn’t seem good
