So we’re currently doing some DPS checks and class combinations to check potential DPS of several classes on higher end content, but something seems wrong.
Now, long ago we discovered DPS meter being reset when:
- Not hitting the boss for more than 10 seconds
- Cleric Using Fade.
- Sitting
- Dying?
Could it be that this applies to Velc? Does it still behave this way?
I’m thinking #1 (Not hitting the boss for more than 10 seconds) to be the case.
Since velcoffer flies over for more than 10 seconds while killing baby drakes, However:
Check the scenario below:
I didn’t use Fade. No one died during velcoffer fight (only gargoyle), I didn’t actually do a lot of DPS, I focused on healing.
I started to find this odd and take screens to check how this works, ever since our thauma got 1 and my trans 0 goon getting 1 in over 30 mins left (considered fast for a public party). Which means I didn’t actually do any major DPS for the run.
It’s a bit hard to see actual DPS effectiveness like this, If anyone else knows what else causes DPS to reset/glitch, do tell.
