Using basic pots for dungeons

Mmmm…100k :moneybag:

Not everyone is an RMT token seller who can afford 600 Lvl 10 health pots.

There is a 60 minute limit to dungeon runs and most dungeons in ToS are finished in 20.

What’s a few minutes spent on campfires going to do to you?

Don’t like it, don’t queue. Stop whining everywhere about it. Roll a healer.

Most people can afford it; it’s just stupid to do.

He also greatly exaggerates the amount of time you need to sit to make his claim sound better. 4 minutes per rest? 24 minutes total? Seriously? More like an extra 5-10 minutes in the dungeon, depending on gear and team composition.

6 campfires is 1800g for the entire team. Everyone spamming level 10 mana pots and health pots is going going to come out to 20x that much easily.

1800g? you mean 180g!
damn look at how much you save using bonfires.

Not everyone can afford the lv10 condensed pots. Which is why I made my build to be as SP friendly to everyone else in the party.

I don’t even… who does OP thinks he is when the other 4 members of the party is fine with sitting down and regen.

Are fires only 30 silver each? I thought it was 300. I never really pay attention; I just grab 100 when I am running low.

Either you didn’t experienced that, or you are that swordsman player with no tank and DPS ability who always did that.

Most of the players from the other classes hate swordsman for this reason.

OP is not exaggerating either, I always (including myself) seen my friends complaining about swordsman sitting down and wasting time in high level dungeon, and he is able to complain all the time because the swordsman are sitting down most of the time, doing nothing.

yeah they’re 30 each, i usually buy 200 everytime i run out

I have 4 different classes at 100+, no idea what you are saying,

If my team wants to settle down to chill and regen, fine with me. They wanna rush another pack of mobs with 0 sp, well fine with as long as we don’t fk it up.

End of the day everyone has a different playstyle, I don’t see why OP has to go all dickham on others who plays the game they want. And of course OP has the rights to play the “rush” way he wants as well, just that I don’t see others making a thread complaining about people unwilling to use bonfire and just wants to speedrun with pots.

You play a game to enjoy it, not to speedrun it as though you are running a business. Time is money yes, but that doesn’t work on an mmorpg where you have to play with hundred or thousand others. If you think otherwise, you are not playing the game as a game, just having the same mintset as RMT.

in dungeon when you dont have a healer there’s no other choice but to sit down for hp.
when you have a healer, i usually sit down for mp. and only on my cooldowns.
it only takes 15-30 seconds for a full bar.
i even sit while my party is fighting. but thats because since my skills are on cd i cant do anything anyway.

100+… what op referring to is problem at 190++

Sitting efficiently is okay. The problem is there is this particular class that spoil the fun out of everyone usually. One is still fine, but when you get four of this in auto matchmaking, usually I will just ditch it because a waste of time.

My point still stays the same, the debate here is pot vs bonfire. And I only brought my level up since you mention

If the team is ok with bonfire, why must you be that special bottle of salt to make a big fuss.

Bonfire time in your level is not irritating, because it don’t really waste as much time as what you have in higher level.

His team is okay because he just happened to get 4 of these worst kind of teammate.

Irrittaing at higher lv? Because of that little hp/sp regen compared to the total big pool of hp/sp? That’s your point isn’t it. Still doesn’t change the fact [quote=“roflmaopapa, post:33, topic:210690”]

You don’t really have to keep bringing up MY scenerio because I do know what you are trying to pinpoint.

So you are basically implying people who don’t do things your/OP’s way = scum of the earth huh?

  1. you should be considerate to the guys who decide to pop exp tomb. make the run end fast is a win-win for everyone. you probably have more time spend grind more silver to regain what you spend with some exp/loot bonus than just sit in dg.

  2. for my case, sp lv10 is overkill in most situation. i prefer to pop basic one but it would not keep up if i spam my skill on boss fight.

what i’m doing is i carry two type of sp pot the basic and lv10. i would pop lv10 if I desperately need sp and basic pot is not gonna help.

Yes, they are. Imagine sitting down for 4 minutes after fighting for every 1 minute, and you are the only source of damage, usually.

Time is precious, exp tome cost money.

I would quit the party most of the time.

You just answered OP’s question then, no one is forcing OP to waste 40mins to clear it with party he doesn’t agree on. Everybody plays their game differently. You want to pop tomes, ask and make sure your party agree with how you guys want to do the dungeon.
You pop it, enters a dungeon, one member’s house went blackout and gone dc. Bam +1 insult thread on the forum for that poor dude who dc.

The risk has always been there.

Dude, you could have pop tomes in the previous dungeon, and get sht teammates on the next round.

This case happened most of the time in random matchmaking, where you randomly get 4 teammate who is just a burden and refuse to help. Ya, it’s rare case, like 1 in 10 run, but its frustrating as fk.

Efficient use of campfire is fine like what suggested by Lostac, but wasting time isn’t.

That’s the point then, so what do you expect? Everyone to play the way you like and to suit your needs?
“Hey guys, this guy already popped his exp tome, let’s do it properly for him.”

Dream on.

Get a premake with friends, else don’t complain about every shitty little experience. This forum isn’t your personal dairy.
