-Unsolved- Necro corpse usage in battle arena is a drain and a hassle

I have to chug upwards of 15 corpse pots in many matches! Oftentimes this means I burn corpses so fast I have to sit outside of battle arena for three minutes chugging pots between matches just to get back to full.

I have to spend 5,000-10,000 silver on a per match basis just to keep my pets up and cast flesh cannon and flesh hoop. And then even if I win, it unsummons all my pets!

Plus, it is definitely not viable to use gather corpse and disinter in pvp. Totally impossible, so corpse pots are forced on all builds.

The costs to participate for the petlord build just aren’t reasonable, when you take a hard at the value of the rewards. I think that most item requirements on abilities on many classes should be disabled for team battle league.

I’m using backmasking almost every round to save my teammate, and it cost me 30k to 50k per match.

don’t just say necromancer is expensive, how about fletcher, rune caster and sapper?

And Priests, em Swords, and every other class. This is not a class problem, its a game feature.
Anyone can farm almost 1kk/hour, so the game need ways to take players silver a way, that’s the point.

If you want to save CORPSE POTIONS use your skills wisely. But if you enter with 300/300, and make it 0/300 inside the arena, as soon as you are out you’ll have the same 300/300 you had before going in.

uhmmm… you can chug or save corpses before you enter the Team Battle League. Once you leave the Arena, you will get back all the corpses you have used.

ANYTHING you used while in the Arena won’t be returned back to you.

I’m a Tranpose-reliant C3 Thaum who almost never has a Krivis in his grinding party. Namely because there are just too many C3 Priests out there to count. To grind I have to spend 4-5k every 3 minutes on Daino scrolls, just to stay alive. That’s 100k per hour of grinding without fail just to protect my buff from being overwritten so I don’t die and lose even more silver and time.

PvP is an option; grinding is not. Mission exp doesn’t scale well late-game and there aren’t enough quests to get you to cap. PvP can net you 1x lv11 card per day and, even with 3x missions and PvP card’s daily it would still take 2-3 months of doing only that to get from 260-280.

So yeah, I feel your pain, but I’ve had to spend millions and millions of silver just to protect my buff slot. And going forward as more buffs come out I’ll likely be spending that or more for the rest of my time here in TOS.

At least you have a choice to spend =( Months of complaining about Transpose taking up a primary buff slot/being overwritten and it hasn’t gotten me anywhere with IMC. I’m not sure they’ll make changes to consumable quantities just for battle league =/

UPDATE: I’m not getting any corpses back upon exit. I have not tested the enter with 300 and have exactly 0 left when the match ends, and I never will, because it’s unworkable and useless even if true, as death and victory tends to come suddenly, and in drawn out matches this paying more attention to corpse count than actually winning the round, or worse, emptying my corpse count and playing the end of a match gimped.

Thread title restored. Perhaps you guys were getting corpses back at some point, but it definitely does not work now.

It NEVER worked like this. People said the same thing about missions and dungeons…,“You won’t lose any resources, you’ll keep what you had when you went in!”. This was just wrong information being spread by people who never tried it for themselves. Hopefully this will be resolved in a patch soon though, it really is silly how nearly impossible it is to keep the minion build going in pvp as it is.

Never is a strong word. I play a necromancer and it used to work.
