The 50% additional damage on Cloaking is just 50% of your physical attack and only applies to the first hit of any attack or skill.

So if im not catch this wrong then if i use backstab after cloacking it only got 25% boost right? And running shot 200% is not separate dmg?

No. To make it simple, you add 50% of your physical attack on top of backstabā€™s final damage.

Yes. The 200% is a modifier additive to your normal attackā€™s 100% modifier.

stone shot is around 25 pr cent chance to stun. Iā€™ve tested that as QS and rerolled cause I dont want to play dice when trying to stun xD.

Anyways , Just reached Rogue c2 and lvled up backstab asap just to see the stupid damage. Now , Im really mad ā€¦ I donā€™t wanna reroll cause I donā€™t have much time but this almost makes me wanna quit the game.

The only good thing about backstab right now is the stun.

Well, Stone Shot itself has better modifier than most 0s cooldown spammables which is 150% vs the common 100%. So itā€™s stronger and never misses which still makes it great, it just comes with a stun bonus.

And donā€™t worry, my Backstab attribute is already 50% which costs roughly 3m total. Yet itā€™s still crappy than ever. So if you ever feel sad about your damage, always think that thereā€™s that person who spent so much time, effort and silvers on Backstab just to be utterly disappointed to the point that the person just re-rolled a new class.

I got back stab recently and while the damage is not awesome right away just doing the math shows me that it will be good later on. Currently my stabs do 2x2k damage on lvl 1. With level 5 it should be 2x3k per stab then x2 for attribute and x3 for karacha which is nearly 40k for one skill use and you can use it twice which is 80k burst damage with high chance to stun on a 10 sec cooldown.

The skill is good imo but only with karacha. The problem is the x3 of the set. Make the skill good on its own and the set bonus becomes game breaking. It would best to remove the set and buff the skill but that would piss off people who bought it already.

Riiight. While every other top tier DPS class does better damage on a huge AOE, or tons more sustained DPS with something like Magic Arrow with just 5s cooldown and total of 2500% modifier w/o attributes.

Even with tons of multipliers, as long as the base damage is bad, youā€™re just multiplying bad damage. Bad damage * several multipliers = several bad damage. Thatā€™s it in a nutshell.

Remember, Rogue on KR is unnerfed and they do 99k + 99k per cast of Backstab. That 99k is the damage cap and the skill actually exceed those values, the game just doesnā€™t show. YET Rogue is not a popular class in KR.

Hi dream, as things stand, would you still recommend going circle 2 for rogue?

My initial path was going to be A1 > QS2 > Scout1 > Rogue2 > Musketeer for pvp

But if rogueā€™s backstab damage has been nerfed that badly, is there any merit in continuing onto rogue 2?

Would A1 > QS3 > Scout1 > Rogue1 > Musketeer be a better choice instead?

Definitely not worth it, it just adds expense due to the fact that you need Karacha Set to do decent on Backstab.

Your other option seems more worth it.

I dont agree, i see backstab more like a really hard stun, that you can combine with stone and snipe and headshot for even more stuns, so the rest of your party can kill, so if you add karacha set, you get a really hard cc. I agree on removing karacha set and buffing the skill.

Sure. Seems you havenā€™t really experienced group PVP yet. Goodluck on stunning enemy using Backstab. Oh, and goodluck not getting revealed yet before you even manage to land 1 Backstab.

Not sure why people seem to think that enemies on group PVP are just static and will carefully never use AOE so Rogues can backstab properly.

On Guild War i usually one shot leather armor with Backstab.
Despite Rogue feeling overall weak,now that iā€™m at C3 i can say for sure that Burrow is broken,despite itā€™s limitations itā€™s really strong.It basically means that you can solo any mob if thereā€™s no time limit.It was sweet to get revenge on those one shot Spion Archers at Nahash Forest,for example.

Canā€™t wait for Rank 8 to come, Rogue C3 will be ridiculous strong when that comes.

As an Archer 3 backstab is the only reliable Pierce type damage on my entire build so it has a niche to it.

How much total dmg (2 hit x2 overheat) you can do when Backstab 10/10 ?

Enough to kill a Brown Harugal(HP 41 000 Leather armor) backstab attribute is at 10% iā€™m not online now but i guess it hits two times 13 000 each~

Oh. I thought the ridiculous bonus strength was when I abused that exploit before to get/rank different classes. I took so many archer classes to the point that my rank would have reached ridiculous levels already so I assumed that it was the rank bonus giving me that tons of huge STR when using Vendetta.

What is the general consesus on Feint for PvP? Is it really necessary? Iā€™ve been wondering whether Capture lvl 5 wouldnt be more usefull in PvP.

So what do you guys think? Feint vs Capture

PVP is alot faster paced than most are thinking. There is no time for debuffs which is hassle to use such as Feint.

Capture should always be invested in whether youā€™re leaning towards PVE or PVP.

Do you think Evasion is worth putting points into, beein a 8 str : 1 con : 1 dex rogue?

Itā€™s more on preference. I donā€™t want evasion because of itā€™s low uptime.
