šŸ“£[UNBANNED NOW] Banned for ''botting'' (See what a bot looks like)

Razuhiko, that isn’t how games work. The game is not region locked. You can play on whatever server you want. The North American server includes Canada, the United states, and Mexico. There are millions and millions of people who don’t speak english at all in North America. It isn’t just the United States, you know that right? Even then, there are hundreds of thousands in the US who don’t speak english.

I think a very large percentage of 12 year olds do what their parents told them in online games. If my child is screaming in CoD into a headset, I take away the headset. They can still play the game. I would do the same with a Keyboard on a childs computer. They can still get on steam and play thousands of games with a controller.

Honestly, any person who walks up to me and talks to me while Im 15 feet away, in bed, late at night grinding with a controller is probably getting ignored. That’s mostly because I turn the AC on at night, and I sleep naked, but that is besides the point. lol

Captcha pops up and the bot suddenly sounds an alarm or stops/automatic response then logs out after a message. Then you’d be arguing maybe the person has reasons and they can’t solve the captcha so it’s not fair to ban

There’s no such thing as a ā€œgood anti-cheatā€ system that isn’t actually just spyware that is doing things nobody will allow IMC to do on their computer. No thanks, I’m not installing some kind of malware that lets them invade my privacy and makes my computer less secure because there’s some imaginary strawman that has ten thousand coincidence to explain obvious and logical reasons why they’re cheating.

Even if this spyware system existed they could crack it and then you’d say there’s a anti-cheat system so it doesn’t count even if the GM watches them farm for 24 hours while ignoring them.

This system is perfect. This player is not a naive person who farmed monsters unknowingly. We’re not in a world where there’s ten thousand coincidence to explain everything that goes against logic.

Also, just so you know, the people who actually manually farm #1 on the kill ranking don’t like bots like the Avidity either. You know why? Because we can actually talk with the GM while we farmed the hundred thousand kills while Avidity farms them and can’t talk with any players for ā€œmagical reasonsā€ and then they’re competing with our legitimate score. People who kill lots of stuff do not like botters or people who will ignore a GM searching for bots.

I agree with @aristeausx on that… maybe they should also implement a way to test if he/she is a bot…

like giving the GM a skill for summoning a high lvl mob to see if he/she avoids it /test dummy of a dummy mob that is immortal to see if see if she/he continues to hitting it

This was the topic we were discussing @Rhaegar solution to bots

@STAFF_John @STAFF_Max @STAFF_Amy

And it can be an inconvenience to legit players and afkers…plus it really depends on how the capcha system is designed.

Then again well done GM_Durian… at least i can now be rest assured that the staff are doing sumthing with regards to bots

???

IMC is not police though they have power greater than police within TOS.
Against police you can retaliate but against IMC inside TOS, you’re not going to be able to fight back.

@please @lans1234567890 @Darkon @Endurance @atari @lemaitre_dulotus @aristeausx Yes, do continue to defend this incredibly obvious use of ToSKore by OP as being an unjustified ban. Continue to ignore the constant movement, attacking mobs that shouldn’t be there, perfect buff timing, constant bot pathing, lack of any jumping, lack of responding to any of the strangeness that was happening around him, AND logging back into the game at superhuman speed twice before the ban could even register in the system. I’m sure all of this is just abstract observation and not concrete proof of botting. Also, be sure you leave your IGN so that you can show us how a cough human would respond to the presence of all of these things as well.

Thing is he/she did not respond to the GMs question… and instead chose to ignore it…continue to ā€œplayā€ the game…

Even if shes/he a legit player…he/she chose to be ignorant… and theres a vid proving it =p

Well, Now whos to blame for getting banned XD…the GM trying to do his job or the one who ā€œpretendsā€ to act like a bot … or in this case… continue botting

@C4Murder i dont think hes defending him/her lol…hes just giving his own opinions

I am worried about innocent players that can get banned because of imperfect banning algorithms and incompetent GM’s.

If by perfect you mean when a GM occassionally gets on they ban a 100 or so bots, and have a decent chance of a few of those being legit players given the time constrictions of the GM, then sure. Meanwhile, 95 of those bots are back in game before the days out. I don’t imagine you would be as happy with the system being perfect if you were banned while playing legit.

How about this:

GM’s in every game I have ever played have had the power to teleport people places. Why not have the GM Teleport the player to a unrealesed/unpopulated zone? Generally, its a ā€œJailā€ area.

GM then asks the player if they are a bot. If the player continues to move/attack/use skills, its a bot. If they don’t respond, spawn some monsters ( In this case Bee’s ) in the Jail, and see if they attack them. The GM can even damage the player to see if they heal/potion as part of a trigger, or even kill the player to see if they auto-respawn.

This would be a FAR more effective way of determining bot usage, and all but eliminates human errors.

Your argument is a lot of hyperbole and baseless speculation that relies on coincidence after coincidence. There’s no perfect solution in this world including automated ones and there’s no proof the GM made an error to go with your idea of human error.

So what if they get teleported to a jail? They logout and it’s not a bot. They can’t speak English so even if they don’t respond it’s not a bot. They’re a 12 year old from Russia and can’t speak English while just wanting to grind and ignore everything in the game so they’re not a bot.

It’s a BOT. GM teleports the bot somewhere and they attack the boss monster the GM spawns, but hey they’re a 12 year old from Russia that can’t speak English or solve captcha so even if they attack the boss for 12 hours dying it’s okay they’re not a bot. Or better yet, they die to boss then logout and since they don’t want to talk with anybody it’s not a bot.

Last post. These responses are a waste of a time since you can find ten thousand coincidence and decided the GM bans people who aren’t bots while you’ve got no evidence to suggest that happened even once so far

I assumed you would ā€œLast postā€ me, when I quite literally gave you a better example of what the GM’s are doing now. If they are going to go down this road to combat bots, they might as well do the best version of it.

This will require much more manpower though.

Letting a GM to put them into a perma-sleep and ask them using a big bright font that cannot be turned off like a normal bubbles would be enough.

Bots will learn to talk eventually, but this would be enough for the early stages.

Sigh, I said last post, but that part really got me. No, they should not spend time programming flawed and pointless stuff to fight bots when they can have a GM verify it in person easily. They need to spend time programming bug fix and stuff from Korea. They do not need to spend time programming a totally crap system which won’t do anything in particular to combat bots.

There’s no proof of human error and the time required to ban the bots is less work and time than making a jail system which doesn’t work or do anything beyond what a GM can already do.

Your idea is flawed using your own logic and having them waste time programming it pointless.

OP is 100% bot in the vid you showed us.
The oracle always cast blessing when there’s 1-2 secs before blessing ran out. Notice the 2nd blessing cast at 1:45, there’s no mob around or in the screen, but she still cast blessing, which is not a normal player would do.

GM is doing the right thing here.

Good job once again imc now if only GM can stand by the afkers and watch the cycle of how offten they use potions then they can determin botting for sp pots and ban hammer them

You have no clue do you?

All that stuff is already in the game. There isn’t a single thing I listed that they cannot already do. Is this your first MMO? lol

Im starting to think you just like arguing just for the sake of arguing. When we start getting reports of people being wrongfully banned by a GM in person then ill start worrying but until then you still sound stupid to me and im assuming to @ashkd2 as well.

Thats the reason why i stay in the forums XD

He’s really bot. but he right about antibot system of this game is trash. Bot not only stay at bee farm or tenet they are everywhere you can always see them when you run new char. I see them almost everymap while I questing.
If IMC can’t make better antibot system this game will die soon.

The best antibot system is a human checking for bots manually. Some folks are here trying to defame it because they probably use bots. You can smell the fear.

Honestly its not even about the political correctness of what @AnitaCafe posted. Using autistic, retarded, etc to insult a person without said mental disorder is in very poor taste. Says a lot about the person behind the screen.

Not even carebaring here, its just that cringey.
