theres [English Ver.] on the game title for some reason.

you can see him on your screen talking to you. surely your eyes wont be on the chat box if you’re killing or hunting some mobs right?

then you’re old enough to understand english and atleast respond when being talked to.

  1. My post doesn’t mention any screenshoot.
  2. A screenshoot proves nothing. Especially the one you’re talking about.
  3. If true, this screenshoot would only show that @Avidity lied about telling the GM.

Took a while to get to the end of the thread.

I’m…disappointed Avidity. The evidence is damming and even if you weren’t botting, a GM isn’t someone you ignore unless you really just don’t care about your account. You also don’t trash talk GM’s doing what they should have been doing from the beginning unless you’re not a legitimate player. I could care less what anyone’s situation is, botting hurts this game and I’m sad a forum regular I liked was almost certainly doing it.

Also, I think this is a fine way to ban people. You don’t have to speak the same language to give a response, just give one that isn’t a spam message and you’re fine. But I do think the loading screen that says what GM’s wear should be in multiple languages as that’s important to know.

I would say I hope you appeal and get the account back, but I can’t honestly trust your activity. So I think this was deserved, and I hope you take the time to reflect on what’s happened.

Dude you are dumb the evidence is overwhelming. You and Avidity can stay stupid together lol.

Wow so now these f-ing bots are pre-recording their bot process and trying to prove themselves innocent through forums and tickets? Is this why some of them with legit names + pets at lvl 200+ maps are not banned at all? Facepalm :weary:

There are a few posts on here of people catching her chars botting so i am not surpised

There’s bots for the sole purpose of earning silver to sell for real money.
There’s bots which players use on their normal account to earn money or level while they don’t play.

The latter is the most annoying and difficult to get rid of. That’s why we need a GM to do this and catch them when they’re using the bot and don’t respond so they can be quickly banned. People are sorely aware of the silver selling bots, but don’t report people like Avidity enough to get them a ban.

Everybody asked in that shout chat to go to bee farm and ban them for a reason. These people have been a pandemic running wild there on bots.

Was gonna support you until I saw the video where you acted like a complete bot.

Plz dont unban

She is a bot all bots use mouse mode… You watch youtube videos of them all in mouse mode plus she had saved waypoints… Good riddence and great job imc

buffing blessing with the exact time (2 sec before expire) and do it multiple times. Your target don`t even die and you proceed to buffing. Your saying your not a bot? How funny.

I am starting to think you don’t fully understand what evidence is. The number of mobs killed is not relevant. You can just as easily farm 20/h a day on bees legit and have a huge number of bee kills. It would be suspicious, but you don’t ban people based on suspicion.

Additionally, by that logic, you could bot a different map every day and never get banned. Someone could make a new character every 6 hours and transfer gear to do Church botting. Kill totals do not indicate if you are, or are not botting, it goes both ways.

My question to you is this: Lets say that you look at all the suspicious activity, kill totals, silver, how someone is acting, and whether or not they respond. At what point would you feel comfortable banning someone? If you were 75% sure? 85%? 95%?

You are never going to get 100% without permanent bot solutions, and the remainder of whatever percentage that isn’t 100%, are legit players. Personally, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with less then 95%, and that would take a whole lot more then a few minutes to determine. You would have to watch that person for a minimum of 15 minutes IMO to get that level of confidence, and with the amount of bots there are, that is not the answer.

So you have a choice. You take a smaller % confidence on a person is botting so that you can effect more bans, or you spend 15 minutes, still not being 100%, and you can get 32 bots in a 8 hour work day. The former, ends with legit players being banned and hurting the game, the latter ends with very few legit players being banned, but no real effect on the game as those bots just return before the days out.

clearly…botting while afk then recording if who’s around his char ks-ing his precious mob. unluckily, gm durian caught his attention.

most active players would like to chat gm’s in every mmo for pics…(only bots dont talk)

The English Ver. doesn’t preclude people with other languages from playing the game. That is a facile argument.

What you see is someone saying something. How many times have you been in town with people talking as you were doing something and stopped to read every word? Gotta say, Ive probably ran past more then a million chat boxes in games without reading them.

Being old enough to understand english doesn’t mean a child needs to respond. Some parents are overly strict about childrens communications on the internet. I often play laying in bed with my monitor 15 feet away from me. I can see my gameplay just fine, but can’t read chat at all from that distance.

You can also tell the mfer is guilty because he stopped replying to his own thread.

Nobody who spends 20 hours farming bees per day farms where he was standing. They also wouldn’t ignore a GM that’s searching for bots. They wouldn’t lie on the forum they asked the GM to come to them. They wouldn’t move around exactly like all the other bots which use that area. No player that’s sane will spend a large amount of time farming that area racking up a huge kill count of bees while he can come to the forum and brag about how he earns 2mil silver in an hour flipping stuff on the market. There’s no special items that drop off those bees he needs.

What you’re saying is absurdity because unless a person is standing behind you watching you use the bot then there’s no real evidence because there’s a ten thousand coincidence which can explain why you aren’t a bot. All those chaplain bots are also regular players who just do the exact same thing too because they’re new players using this sort of logic.

In fact, there’s no bots in this game simply people who can’t speak while using mouse mode so there’s obviously a keyboard and also ignore everything on their screen for hundreds of hours while farming the lowest amount of silver they can get

Mindy, is that you??
Nvm, It’s one of his clones. Anyway… One Mindy clone down, 200 more to go!
Keep up the good work, IMC!

then that means you understand english since you chose to play the english version of the game. there must be few people above 8 years old that doesn’t understand english.

It’s different in fields where you are hunting. you’re eyes is mostly focused on the screen and you will most likely see if someone is talking to you.

ok how many 12 years old do you think really do what their parents told to in an online game? if most of them are, then you wont hear lots of kids screaming on CoD or other games.

a person who looks like a GM (which you often see in the loading screen) approaches you and talks to you( clearly you’ll see their chat bubble), surely you wouldn’t mind going near ur monitor to look. you can’t miss it since you’re focus on your game right? unless you’re so lazy that is.

Ash, I am not defending Avid at all. I am fairly confident he was botting. I am criticizing the method of determination for bots.

It doesn’t matter what people DO, its what people are capable of doing. You could spend 20 hours farming bees. You could be #1 in bee kills completely legit. Doesn’t mean you bot.

A good anti-cheat would prove botting/hacking. Capcha systems would help. There are a number of methods that could be used to more permanently effect botting with a higher percentage then you could do manually.
