šŸ“£[UNBANNED NOW] Banned for ''botting'' (See what a bot looks like)

39 minutes prior to the ban every shout is stitched including after the ban

This is a complete stitch spanning 39 minutes prior to his ban of shouts showing Avidity never said anything in shout. Avidity has been lying and creating a hoax from the original post he made suggesting he asked the GM to come minutes prior to his banning which he edited out. This just further shows he was simply using a bot and never said anything while using it.

It starts at 1:43am
Heā€™s banned at 2:22am
It ends at 2:30

Avidity, youā€™re a discredited liar that uses a bot. If you werenā€™t a cheater you wouldnā€™t lie about using shout.

Do you saw the video?

The chat was on. The baloon was covering the ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  bees!

There is no way to get banned if you are looking for the ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  screen even if the chat is off.

he was obviously botting, like he cant be serious he even posted the evidence himself. This guy is the dumbest person on ToS

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! This Avidity guy is a fvcking Idiot. Iā€™m gonna remember your name dude. Your banning issue made my day Lel

Yes, I saw the video. Read carefully.

But if a person cannot see the message then how can he answer? He need to look for a GM costume which is just stupid.

And I saw a fully incompetent GM.

Well, Lack of response is not evidence to botting, which is all the GM had at the time of the ban. He didnā€™t have the video that looks suspicious. He didnā€™t have the hundreds of replies in this thread pointing out little things Avidity did.

My conclusion is this:

1: Avidity was probably botting.
2: Someone who is legit could EASILY be banned for not responding. Could be a small child, controller, someone who doesnā€™t speak english, etc.

This could present some serious problems. Even if Durian got 95% bots, it would likely HURT the game more then it helps. 99% of bots are RMT related, and they have already put in multiple ways to combat RMT. Those bots can be banned, and they just come back farming Church within a few hours and trade off mats to legit accounts, and repeat the process. Where as if a legit player is banned, they would likely quit and never return.

Whatever the case may be, they absolutely need to find a new way of fighting AND determining bot usage. This isnā€™t going to cut it. Quite literally will kill the game.

Their previous policy of essentially ignoring bots, might have actually been the correct policy for the time being until a lasting bot fighting method is introduced.

He lied about saying anything in shout. Heā€™s also lying about his stats not showing heā€™s a bee farm botter with maybe a hundred thousand kills. He moved exactly like a bot and the video is edited so it doesnā€™t show how he was doing it prior to what heā€™s showing also.

That area isnā€™t a place where innocent people farm. Thereā€™s no chance the GM got a wrong person since only bots farm that specific area. This is not a coincidence youā€™re simply unaware of what happens there.

The only way to miss the GM is by not look to the screen. You really donā€™t need to say nothing, just stoping acting like walking in a pre-made macro path. If youā€™re a human you would react to a GM presense even by stopping for a second.

You must be very afraid, Avidityā€™s friend or just trolling.

This entire thread is a hoax by him.

You say thereā€™s no evidence, but based on what exactly? GM can read everything you say and know what your character did. Letā€™s go into another universe where he isnā€™t using a bot like in the video we see and thereā€™s not evidence the GM can look at which he got banned based on.

Heā€™s in a area that only bots use. Heā€™s not questing, earning experience, and heā€™s competing with actual bots to farm maybe 20k silver an hour. Not even chinese slaves would actually farm that spot if theyā€™re at the keyboard.

So, he doesnā€™t respond and moves like a bot. Players reporting bots will report him. GM banning bots will ban him. If he makes every single attempt to show heā€™s a bot then heā€™ll be treated like a bot.

Players do not farm that spot and move like him.

ā€œPlaying like a bot in front of a GM is worth a ban.ā€ Welcome to good ol Far West, I hope you did not forget to bring your Colt :stuck_out_tongue: Cow-boys are going rampant.

But, well, thatā€™s a MMO. I wouldnā€™t expect more :stuck_out_tongue:

Botters recording themselfs before getting banned, very smart move.

@Community: Let the dank memes flow through your veins.

Based on the fact that the GM can only see actions, and while those actions might be suspicious, they arenā€™t evidence. Seeing the video it looks a awful lot like a bot, but being in game and watching for all of a few minutes doesnā€™t equate to evidence.

The GM being able to read what you say is irrelevant. If I speak only russian, I am not going to know what the hell the GM said. Might not even know its a GM. If my chat window is on Private, or Party, or Guild? If names are turned off? If I am 12 years old playing with a controller? There are a lot of reasons why someone might not respond.

Not being efficient in the area you are farming is also not evidence. I am relatively new to the game, and I donā€™t know the spots to farm/level yet. Most of the areas I do end up grinding in are empty as all hell, so I am probably doing it wrong as well. Should I be banned if I run in a circle in a terrible farming area because I am only using my mouse and eating a hotdog with my other hand? That would probably look suspicious, but certainly not evidence of anything.

But, as I said in my first post, Avidity was most likely botting. The point was that some innocent people are going to be caught in the crossfire if not responding is basis for bans. The bots will return, but the players wont. And its the players that keep the game alive and interesting.

@ashkd2 @skol600ml This is not my job to judge is heā€™s a botter or not. Please put down your pitchforks .

Yet again:

And try to distinguish a real GM from players in spring costumes. Jump, and run around every player who resemble a GM.

Fail to argue -> jump to personal attacks. Pathetic.

Iā€™m a bit lazy for long explanations, Iā€™ll just agree with all that @aristeausx said here.

Are you stupid?. Avidity said he told the GM that there were bots in Dina Bee Farm. The guy posted a screenshot proving Avidity said no such thing, in fact was lieing about the whole thing.

You either are a botter as well are just fking stupid like Avidity.

I canā€™t really see why everyone is cheering. This only shows that people can bot whenever the fk they want and we need an active GM to check on people. If the people botting are there, they arenā€™t even counted as a bot. This is not even a ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  solution. More people will probably start botting after seeing this.
Also, prepare them channels cause the game is opening again for the public aka more god damn bots.

In Tree of Savior everything you do is logged. You can pay TP to find out who earned the most money farming monsters and see who killed the most monsters in your journal. Your claim he doesnā€™t have other evidence is totally baseless.

He could simply be asking people to say something before he goes to check more advanced statistics which prove theyā€™re not just passing by on a simple chance. The person in question is a liar who had changed their story multiple times and edited their post 67 times total changing everything about it while doing so.

Them saying theirs not evidence doesnā€™t mean it and itā€™s totally unbelievable with all the record keeping that the GM canā€™t easily see this person is a botting cheater. This is not your usual MMO. We can see exact kills in our own journal and even check others so donā€™t assume a GM canā€™t also check out vital information. Thatā€™s a ridiculous conclusion to jump to.
