Two Handed Blunt Weapons for Melee Cleric Class
Cleric’s are suppose to be a type of hybrid class, which is why we are the only class that gets to benefit the blunt type weapon that gives both Atk and Matk damage. However, when looking at the Paladin/Monk types which are melee focused, they are built to do damage, however, the options are slim other than melee off-hand “arde dagger” and a shield that gives no real benefit to damage.
Two handed Spears and Swords are swordsman only, so why not have a two-handed blunt weapon. It gives more melee damage than one handed blunt weapon, that can give Matk bonus for those that want to be melee focused paladin/monk types but not want to use shields/off-dagger type. I usually prefer two-handed weapons in game also because of the flavor of the look. I’m not sure if this was discussed before because I did a quick search before, but I don’t see many discussions on this.
