Tree of Savior Forum

Tree of savior really p2w?

No it’s cool man, you reminded me of world bossing which I do agree is 100% competitive. At least you brought an actual logical point.

Oh everyone can clear earth tower to the end now? Alot has changed since i played. Guess the gear isnt that useful or profitable since everyone does it and has the items.

Honestly couldnt tell you that gringe. But if p2w was an issue with ET, it would of been brought up with the enchant scroll hat closer to launch.

Im mostly interested in how duped everyone has been. hue

Notice how no one who is screaming p2w now, has posted there.

Like I said in a other thread, those are p2w scrolls since the start. ANYONE and probably EVERYONE who bought those scrolls with money or on the AH (even if they drop in game) if you purchased 1, you gave IMC internal metrics you were fine with gambling for power.

In most cases from what Ive observed in f2p MMORPGs, the devs/publishers make decisions based off internal metrics rathar than the screaming masses of the forums.

This whole incident is a good microcosm study of how this monetization method was first implemented. Im finding it very interesting to watch.

Lag death an waste of live’s pressuring you to buy more just to keep on grinding to get ahead equal p2w hence the mockery of what whiteknight’s would say “GetGuD” Foh.

You can only trade Gacha items for medals.

That is what we said, the ones from Gacha, people is selling for that price range, now, if you can’t exchange it after buying from market or 1:1 trade i am not sure.

if you buy a gacha hair accessory off market you cannot turn it in for medals. I bought the “sky blue ribbon” accessory on market and it does not let me exchange it for medals.

There was some concerns in the early days about enchants. But the atmosphere that time was different. Game was new, people were optimistic, enchants used to be weak, etc etc

thanks for info, IMC thought it out already lul

good to know, thank you for testing for us.

It was clear pay for power with gambling. You’d be blind not to realize what thatd lead too.

And all those TPs and silvers spent, were data points collected by IMC; that supported their decision for p2w gachas.

IMC was like “hey do you guys want to buy power in gambling form?”

The community response by the purchase numbers was…

I guess it’s time to raise the damage cap… AGAIN.

Yep, now many of those who brought founder packs are out, and the typical f2p crowd who has no problems with p2w micro transactions are in. IMC changed their target market :grinning:

@ZeroFoxGiven my friend’s SPR is 649 when equipped with the bracelets. But that is kind of overkill actually. Just the 180 SPR is enough.

In the end I bought them myself to test. RIP my 90 medals/TP, lynessa is waiting for Miko and probably won’t use her for at least a week. = no use of bracelets… oh well.

Many thanks to Crossfode for helping me with the tests. :3

+180 SP is actually quite substantial in terms of resistance gain. The 2nd video shows how powerful the resistance is vs a cryo chrono. RIP debuffers.

On the side note, this does help PVE tremendously though… haiz.

how much blessing damage does 180 SPR adds?

For me since I’m a priest2, it adds up to around 100~ish extra damage. For my friend gem will be around 150+.

Still isn’t near Phashion Star Online 2 quality yet, and not nearly as good as a waifu simulator either.

it depends on your level of Blessing. From level 2 onwards, every level grants a 0,06 multiplier to SPR and a 0,02 multiplier to INT.
Lv5 Blessing = 0,24xSPR/0,08xINT
Lv 10 Blessing = 0,54xSPR/0,18xINT
Lv15 Blessing = 0,84xSPR/0,28xINT

If we consider that we can add +2 with gem and Divine Might, that would increase to 0,96xSPR/0,32xINT.
If we add Attila on top it’s 1,08xSPR/0,36xINT.

As we can see, from lvl 17 onwards it’s practically 1 SPR= 1 additional damage via Blessing.

Ah, that is good to know, thanks for the heads up.

And people say that Blessing shouldn’t be reworked when being sold by pardoner’s shop to use the seller SPR instead of the buyer lol.
