Tree of Savior Forum

Tree of savior really p2w?

Why IMC is ruining the game this way?

When iTos was released there was about 60k of players online in real time, today does not reach the 6k

IMC must think of other ways to get money for the game without affecting game play, with advantages for p2w.

The way things are going iTos will be less than 1k people online soon

I think that the IMC has to review its concept of what to expect for the future of the game, if there will be a future of such as are walking.

Before many speak it’s okay, look what iTos is about to become.

Leave your opinion, whether you agree or disagree with the game is becoming so p2w.

Can you get everything in the game through silver alone (either by drops or through auction house)?

If no > p2w
If yes > not p2w

Answer : Yes.

Now, paying money obviously speeds up the process but that’s kinda the point. At the same time, getting silver isn’t the most horribly impossible thing in the world either.

I will not be talking about those insane 10 TP event gachas from kToS as long as they dont come to iToS. If or when they do, then we can talk.

90 Spr and 45 con bracelets are only from gacha points.

So it gives me the impression this is the start of them heading to pay to win.

I…have a hard time calling this p2w considering what effect those stats increases even have is pretty neglebile, but okay, per definition it is indeed.

Can you show me which bracelets you’re talking about? I was unaware of them specifically. Also, are they tradeable?

Lets all farm silver! Its doable and you dont rely on lady luck.

Go to the exchange shop. Those to braceletes are rentals (aka you have to keep paying if you want them) And they are BIS for some classes. Also 2 necklaces similar to Max Petamion but slightly better as the stats are +20 and focused on either physical stats or magic stats depending on which one you buy.

I can already imagine top players from elite guilds full of whales stomping 21-40 Et content and selling items for real money in korean internet coffee.

I havent actually used the exchange shop yet but can’t you buy hats/accessories for silver on the AH to then exchange them for medals to spend in the exchange shop?

If you can, it’s a really fine line in that case. If that’s an option I’d still personally disagree with it being p2w (granted, them being timed is another level of stupid which I definitely DONT agree with), but I know many people would feel that crosses said fine line.

If you cant, welp, I give, you win.

I realize its not a extreme case of p2w, but its a step in the wrong direction that has scared me off.

Only time will tell how it plays out.

If you are willing to waste 2-5mil silver to buy something that will return to you 30 medals, then go for it.

SPR is actually kind of a big deal for clerics… and for PvP… It’s pretty f’ed up…

And the 2nd generation cubes we haven’t gotten yet are pretty scary… We’re talking like easy source of Pract, silver anvils, awakening stones, blessed shards… Basically everything that’s important right now. Pray we don’t get that on iToS…

My personal opinion. This is p2w only because of PVP. Its similar to alot of p2w games nowadays, that claim they are not p2w but usually are in PVP.

PVE I dont know if the content really is that diffficult that it can not be completed with your regular ingame drops.

PVP, sure it’s p2w.

PVE, I dont know if the content really supports p2w.

If you cant see that this is pay to win I almost want to buy you a new set of eyes. at first I thought the only cash items were what was coming out of the box, which is no big deal, these necklaces and bracelets are oover the top. straight up p2w

What exactly are you winning in PVE?

We dont have any competitive PVE. No raid raceing, no dungeons that require over the top gear, no league type compeitions, no last man standing type, no mob wave competitions.

PVP its clearly P2W cause of GVG.

World Boss hunting?.. Is it really rocket science? Being able to clear 315 and Earth tower much faster and easier due to access to high tier cash gear. If you don’t see how this impacts pve, there is a pretty good chance you aren’t even involved in the pve in this game. Try getting a cube from a boss that has 150 million hp when youre in the middle of a crowd of cash cows doing 40% more damage than you. They will win, cause they paid.

O world bossing forgot that. Yes thats winning I suppose. ET isnt competitive enough for me to consider winning (if you had unlimited entries to dungeons, Id lean more towards winning.)

Well, I mean ET is competitive in a sense that getting it done yields end game equipment. And in order to clear it, you would either need to grind for top gears and have a meta build designed FOR ET, or you could just cash shop and get it done twice as fast, and likely more efficiently due to the quality of the gear you can buy. Its not as staggering of a blow towards that aspect of PvE, I agree, but this will definitely effect boss hunting, which in my opinion, alongside PvP and GvG, is the only reason to play the game. Oh well. I mean it took me 4 months to get a max Petamion but now I could just pay some cash, and I have something better. Just like that.

Just read my last post and I came off really abrasive… sorry man.
