I think they said this three times in news post about reading how to use rank reset, 1 in maintenance post, another in news and another in announcement of rank resets coming out.
This stuff appears on steam page when you click on play so I have no idea why so many people lost their level 14 class exp and complain about itā¦
Not to mention they said, in order to not mess up, read how to use itā¦
Teach them and then welcome them to the 21st century.
Edit: Do not, nevermind. Itāll probably help them with fiscal responsibility if you do not; probably a better idea to not teach them or they will max out their credit cards.

Donāt see how this kind of compensation can be given by tickets unless there is proof of before & after that can be verified. And giving a compensation seem like a ton of work. Losing a few EXP levels and getting them back is prolly less time waiting than getting the compensation.
One thing is sure:
If you start reading the updates and start learning after that mistake well thatās an huge improvement in this type of game where everything get balanced and changed often! Congrats you are now a more intelligent player, and you are on your way to become a very good one! /ok

IMC rarely does things right, as of late, but they handled this fairly nicely. Iām not a fan of the idea of this being something that got handed out, I was vehemently against it and pretty vocal about it. However, I think they handed it in a fair manner.

True, but thatās the players fault for not informing him/herself correctly before using the rank reset. The information was provided properly, itās not IMCs fault when people just use items without reading how to use the item properly or are too lazy to look up the instructions on how to use them.

As far as i know TOS is only officially available in english, japanese and korean. For any other language IMC has no obligation to provide information.
Also, If people know english enough to read the items ingame description and understand how to activate it (āyou cant have anything equipped. you canāt be guild leader, etcā) then they should be able to read and understand the announcements on Steam, no?
Itās not like the items description is common english but the announcements are high-level english.
Or are you saying people who dont understand english/japanese/korean at all, instead of asking other players in their language what it does and how to use it, like any person with common sense, just blindly use any item they recieved in the char lobby, despite not understanding what it does? Thatās dumb.
When you select Tree of Savior in your Steam library there were multiple anouncements regarding the class reset. I count three announcements.
So people in fact did not have to visit the homepage in order to get the messages from IMC where they ask the users to check out the homepage for information regarding the class reset item.
Every time you selected TOS in your Steam library you shouldāve seen the annoucements, except for a few situations:
-you deliberately ignored or were too lazy to read the announcements (in which case its your fault)
-you deliberately switched to a steam library display mode that disables announcements (again, your fault for disabling announcements)
And I promise you, even if they made ingame announcements, even if they sent hand-written emails, people wouldāve still ignored it and afterwards complained āQ.Q but you didnāt call me personally on my phone.ā.
IMC could have easily avoided this hassle by programming the reset feature to save class level info in the DB and everyone would be happy. But they didnāt. So too bad 
O I forgot, itās in english. 
@STAFF_Ethan We need you to translate everything into the 6000+ languages around the world. Otherwise we as the playerbase will continue to mess things up, that you will have to fix.
Also you either need to hand deliver the instructions to the actual player or at least pigeon carry it to them. Otherwise they will never know.

btw, i know some player after install, they just click the desktop shortcut icon, by pass any announcement in steam or website.
not even in TOS client have loading screen/tips/announcement have enough info.
