Not to mention, their staffs who genuinely giving service to the players and making the community as well as the game. Doubt on Tree Of Savior Indonesia Publisher

First of all, I want to apologize for my awkward English. so ToS seems already made a contract with one of the Indonesian Publisher “Gemscool”. as can be seen on their teaser http://www.gemscool.com/landingpage/teaser2/1 I am happy that we can play the game with low latency but I have a big doubt that this publisher can manage ToS properly. as far as I know this publisher has a bad reputation on managing their game, as like there was a cheater and it seems like GM doesn’t even care/take that …

I’m known as Skykyrie on my Steam Account (yeah, I know I’m not that famous), and I play Tree of Savior Indonesia since the day it was published in Indonesia (around early June 2015) by PT KREON Indonesia (Gemscool). You can find me there with ArchangelCorp as my Team Name. But then I decreased my playtime because of how disappointed I am for the admins and GM (Game Master) unprofessional services and it keeps going on until now. I keep in touch with my friends there and they feel the same as I do.

For the beginning, our events and updates are the same as iTOS (from now, I’ll put iTOS as Tree of Savior Steam and idTOS as Tree of Savior Indonesia), and usually we have those about one month after iTOS released them. But so many times that idTOS didn’t give the updates and they extended the old events instead or even no event at all. Right now, my concern is that idTOS hasnt given us New Content update (Legend Cards, Wizard Reworks, as stated in https://treeofsavior.com/page/news/view.php?n=1305), which is the update should have been given last month (from how the update time gap usually from iTOS to idTOS). Many Indonesian players are waiting for that update since the release on iTOS, but all we get are only Goddess Blessed Cube update (https://www.gemscool.com/berita/read/2018/06/11/16938/maintenance_12_juni_2018). Oh, did I mention that idTOS didn’t even celebrate its second year anniversary? Yeah, we don’t get The Invited Ones event at all.

The reason of why the updates and events aren’t published in idTOS is lack of translator working on the updates. I know this from one of the admins that working at Gemscool, and they made a Official Discord server, which you can find it here (https://www.gemscool.com/berita/read/2018/05/31/16908/tos_offical_discord). They stated how their translator is working not only idTOS, but all games that they published.

Moreover, they tried to put the blame on the developer (IMCGAMES) because they said the developer is not swift enough to give the update contents.

Which is clearly contradicting what they said about “havent been translated”.

My second concern is we don’t have GM that focused only on idTOS. You aren’t reading it wrong. Our idTOS GM is dragged from another game GM, because all idTOS GM are resigned already.

They even gave encouragement to play iTOS instead, which is impossible because of the region lock (unless you play it with VPN, but not sure about the terms of service of VPN usage).

Third concern is about their professionalism. One of my friend support ticket hasn’t been answered since a week ago (https://imgur.com/1yvpTb8), and more support tickets from other people accounts. Even if you go to idTOS official Discord server, you can find that admins there are kinda unpleasant to answer some of player questions.

I think these concerns are already answering about the future of Tree of Savior Indonesia, and it’s reaching the point that the game won’t last any longer. All I want to discuss here, is there any chance that IMC will take over idTOS and make it as a brand new server, instead of merging it to SEA[Telsiai] ? Because it would be unfair to both servers to merge, from all perspective (such as market, items, and updates). I already stated these concerns on iTOS support ticket, and you can see it here :

Maybe that’s all what I say about Tree of Savior Indonesia. I believe this game has so much potential and as its player, I want to be part of it, but not like this. It’s so unforgiving about how Gemscool treated their players like this.

Majority of active player in idtos feels this way. I’m one of them, I’ve quit tos for a month because of the unprofessionalism of the admin.

Remember about the day when the chat server just dead and the maintenance notice every week is ridden by typo? I’ve asked about those things and several other problems and their answer is just linked me into the maintenance notice of itos.

That’s when I’m convinced that this publisher didn’t care at all at this game and i quit the game shortly after.

I forgot to mention that i replied to that cs about my disappointment but he/she didn’t reply it and just close the thread.

Hi @tonyostark! Yes. There are players who were already been banned due to use of third-party programs such like VPN. Please stay away from it.

one of the moderators said there that there are players who were already been banned due to use of VPN. so it’s pretty much risky in all way, and some players do need to buy TP or DLC packs on iTOS as well.

I don’t see why they would ban vpn users when they suggest ip restricted users… to use a vpn to circumvent the restriction.

I think the IP restrictions on the page means restrictions within Russian to some NA servers (including ToS and others). I have no idea. EDIT: Oops, sorry. :x

But nevertheless I think you’re right there. You’d expect some explicit info somewhere and notes in news pages like that since this is a frequent question.

Plus we had koreans and others players in iToS for quite long (do they actually have IP block?) and never heard of them being banned, should be safe even if by any means they can manage to track you.

I know the page is about Russian’s ip restriction case, but it’s not specified anywhere that it doesn’t apply to other ip restrictions.
Like you said, unless there is something explicit that prohibits vpn and tells that this is one specific exception, I don’t see how they can ban anyone.

The post about people getting banned for VPN is being misinterpreted.

IIRC, it is a very old post that referred to people that got themselves associated with bots by using VPN (same IP as bots) which earned them ban, not the use of VPN itself.

well i’m glad quitting id tos about more than a year ago. My reason? they dont give us free stat reset event as steam TOS does. well i play idTOS since first release and after 3 months playing i decide to play on steam.

I’m so sorry that you were experiencing this! here in Brazil we almost fell into the hands of a terrible publisher too. but for reasons never explained we ended up staying in the same steam and I thank you for it. I hope everything goes well and that you can play tree of savior by steam.

thank you guys for your supporting comments so far. im sorry i replied too long (as it’s eid fitr weeks here lol). there is no any information left as the admins and GM themselves are “on vacation” as well. so, guess I’ll wait until next maintenance on idTOS xD
