Hello guys!

I want to introduce to you a new database site for Tree of Savior - http://tosdatabase.net.
We are not the novices in the database making. So far we made the databases for Aion, Archeage, Tera and of course we could not miss this masterpiece game.

Currently the database is on the very preliminary stage of the development. Only Items and NPCs sections are working. NPCs have drop lists and Items have the back links to the NPCs which drop them.

In our plans to make this database as full as other our projects. It will support all language versions of the game.

We would be glad to hear your comments and suggestions here or our forum.

Ok, I’m getting very confused. There are just too many websites called ToS database, so maybe, just maybe, could be a good idea to start thinking in new names guys.
Please, my brain can’t handle all those sites with the same name.

I’m going by SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.
I personally do not agree with multiple sites trying to do this rather than just coming together and making a wikia or something… but whatever.

I think, the main thing that distinguishes us from all other fan sites is that we make our site professionally. It’s not just another fan site made by exited fan which will disappear as soon as that fan loses his interest in the game. We support our sites trough the full life cycle of the game, no matter how old it may become. We invest time and money in our projects and want them to become popular and useful for the fans.

Okay this is actually the only ToS database website that has a good/decent design. Cool. I love the way you used ToS actual UI and integrate it with other elements in the website. Font choice could be a little better and I recommend you to actually use the same or similar font to the game, since it is already announced that they wll use some Serif font that name I’ve forgotten. http://tosdb.net : has some fundamental web design/usability problems (I know the title states it is still under construction - so hopefully they fix these)

http://www.tos-db.com : was clearly designed to trick users into clicking their AdSense ads and attempt to rank highly in SEO (you can tell by looking at their Equipment section - which is an unorganized block of text that nobody but search engine crawlers will read).

http://tosdatabase.net : Out of these 3 it seems to be the most useful. The only thing missing is greater filter options, for example I can not search for all boots that give an MSPD bonus, or do a search for all ‘material’.

I hate to break it to all of the DB designers, but if RMS decides they want to make a ToS DB - it looks like they will take the cake on this. RMS makes it incredibly easy to find everything you need - a smart web designer would be using RMS as a guide for how to create a successful game DB.

Sorry, but i don’t know what’s RMS is. Can you give a link to it?

Quick filters will be there 100%. You can see the examples on our Tera database.

Currently i’m investigating the game’s client. I didn’t had a chance to see the game first person, so all i can use now is some youtube videos. It’ll become much clearer to me after the first English CBT. As soon as all data will be parsed and imported i’ll work on improving the site’s usability.

As you can see by the posts on our forums, we usually implement user requests quite fast. So just keep them coming. Tell us what we miss and you’d like to see and we’ll do our best to realize your wishes.

I’m leaving on vacation for 2 weeks starting tomorrow and probably will be without the internet access so don’t expect any replies here until August 5th. However i intend to study the ToS client more during this time. Hopefully some nice update to the database will come shortly after i return home.

@Kiriak RMS is http://ratemyserver.net. You’ll notice if you click on the Item Search or the Monster Search links on the side that you can filter my almost anything.

Oh, thanks. I see your point now. Well, these will be made for sure. So far i don’t see any technical difficulties in implementing the search by any parameters of the equipment.

Hello guys. I’m back from the vacation and made a small update to the database. Added Gathering and Craft sections.

Unfortunately i did not received a key to cbt and don’t have an access to the latest game client. So the base is still based on the Korean cbt2. If somebody with a key will upload the latest client somewhere for me, it’ll help tremendously.

Another update:

Added Quests section.
Added more stats to the NPCs lists and pages.

i was checking your database, and i think you should add another column to search for weapons / armors, based on the LV of your character requited to equip that weapon, right now the level you are using is the level of the weapon( for example you have a 2h sword with an item lv of 16 that requires your character to be lv 75 to be able to use it)

Unfortunately i didn’t played the game personally yet. That’s why i don’t know yet which stats/parameters will be useful to have in the list columns/filters. So i’m just working on the base features of the database and trying to understand the game client’s structure.

However, i’d like to ask all who played in the recent beta, please, tell me what you’d like to see there. Some detailed info/filters etc.

Actually was looking for a recipe database on Google when I came across this.

Really love the organization of this database the best, probably my new go to place for that, is it possible to add a drop list as well for materials and recipes?

If we have the drop source for the item, it should be listed on the item’s page.
Check this material for example: Dilgele. You can see the “Dropped by NPC” tab at the bottom of the page.
