We should stop promoting cleric as the best class. More and more scrubs are making clerics just cause. And they’re absolutely trash at supporting.

i gave her a bomb with the sapper quest, clerics are satanic in this game, they are not cleric at all.
they look as greedy as IMC just look at those eyes i’m sure she has a gacha and a bug under the skirt.

Just to take 3. I’m quite sure the main concern isn’t PvP here.
Want an example?
Here, take a team of 5 archers and try ET. Does it work? No.
Try again with a 5 wizards team. Does it work? No.
What about a tank class, with 5 swordsmen? Even worse.
Now, what about with 5 clerics, the only class possessing heals? Hell yeah, you can do everything, you got heals, support capacity and the best DPS in the game, physical or magical, even a lot of debuffs. Did I mention Ausrine?
There is a huge problem when only ONE class can be played at endgame without needing the others.
I never played a game where this was possible, and this is absolute bullshit. What’s the point in having 80+ classes if only one tree (of cleric) contains all the meta and can surpass every other one all by itself?

What support? Lol. Most clerics nowadays dont know how to support. They are so focused on trying to be top dps that they are oblivious to everything else. paying a little attention to your teams hp is not that hard. Its like, I dont care what kind of cleric you build… U have the freedom to become whatever you want. But you have a heal skill for a reason. Laying down heal tiles dont even require any precision. More and more kids are just creating clerics because they hear its op… Half the clerics u see nowadays dont know anything about supporting. They just use heal for dmg and continue to attack when their team is low, priest that doent res etc.
Oh and also… I dont pvp in this game as well, pvp in mmos are nothing. Whoever is better geared with the better class wins. Clerics are naturally op due to being able to do high dps while immune to everything, including stuns.

EDIT1: But yeah I focus on DPS now too because I want to solo quest, but DPS + Supporting is possible, I don’t know why so many fail at it. Like, they can’t even put heal tiles or safety wall… oh god.
Exactly. I main a cleric that supports my gf as well. Clerics in this game are able to do good dmg despite being support. Im not asking one to go full support to the state of not being able to do anything yourself… That sounds more like cryochrono hahahahaha. being able to do good dps while not neglecting support is the best balance. With a team full of non cleric dpses, its more effecient to keep them alive while they dish out more damage than you trying to top up some dmg while letting others die. I guess the number on the head after each boss is really so important to some people.

Class balance in this game is terrible. Im a support wiz main and decided to try and create a cleric just for fun. What a change 
buffs scale on their spr, even some of their spells scale on their int. Their rank 7/8 class deals HUGE amounts of damage, and to top it off, they can HEAL and support while dealing decent damage.
Only solution I can think of to make the game more balanced is to make buffs/other skills scale on their stat (just like zaibas/cure/blessing/stone skin/zalciai/ or other scaleable buffs :v ) and tone down spme damage on PvP
What bothers me the most is that clerics are more dps than wizards…

You keep missing their points.
While I do agree that you need to stop being dumb and pay attention to your enemy (the amount of people using a strong skill when R7 is on is too damn high - although the best I’ve seen, I think, was an archer walking IN Carnivory and TO the Owl statues… then complaining. How dumb can you get ?), the point is that Clerics have it much easier.
You don’t need an incredibly OP gear, to fund your toon (with silver and/or cash) a lot, or to make a super great build full of synergies to rank well in TBL if you have a Cleric.
Other trees have to choose different builds depending on if they want to do PvE or PvP, they have to choose if they want to be full DPS, or CC/support, a Cleric can basically do it all just because their starting class is a support class with the best Heal that heals based on your HP and get a bonus from INT: the damage stat for most Clerics.
Most Clerics’ classes will find some synergies between each other, which isn’t the case at all for other trees.
Clerics can almost pick whatever they want (as long as you don’t do something incredibly stupid), they can somehow make it work, while in other classes just one mistake is usually deadly and make your toon useless.
For example, when R8 came out, I’m sure that most Clerics didn’t feel ducked up because suddenly their build was bad/useless. You can make it work somehow. But a lot of characters from other trees felt annoyed because they “should” have chosen other classes to make it work well with the new R8 classes.
I love building Clerics, but it’s definitely much easier and fun because we don’t have to be as psycho about our builds. You can try out things and it’ll somehow work.

Tell me one thing, if it wasn’t because of issues in PvP that these kind of complaints wouldn’t pop up.
I don’t even know “Best BOT” can even be considered an argument. Go figure.
Best PvE huh. You want to bring in the damage argument? You know how my Oracle suffers not being able to solo since Verkti Square because no one wants to party me?
“Best Shop” also can become an argument. Feels like a filler to fill in the quota to start an argument. I’m sure you didn’t notice all the stuff he mentions after those. Repair shop is a Cleric.

Your argument is way more logical than all of these rants. I agree with you but to be honest, building a cleric class gives me way more headache than building others.
However as you can see, the points he is stating now isn’t about synergy. He is complaining because Cleric is winning him in PvP. I assume he wasn’t a pure PvP class at all.
EDIT1: There is always a motive in rants and easily you can notice what the person is targetting at.
He already stated Kabbalist + Plague Doctor which a lot of players use them in PvP. Means he died from those 2 class. He must be a dopple? because I heard from a friend that Skull Swing or whatever can be resisted. Lol
