Training a Companion (Question)

Hello fellow toster/saviors,
I hope you all enjoy our early access now that we got through probably one of the if not the most troublesome week of iTOS. Regarding early access maybe some of you or the cataphracts and falconers under us, have asked themself this very question.
1.Is training my companion worth it ?
2.What stats should I prioritize on ?
I chose not to spend any money on my hoglan since I was going for falconer all along but yesterday I reached rank 6 and now I am asking myself again should I train my pet and what stats would need some training?
Hoping to hear some opinions!
Grettings,
Lennard/Enrith

Oh I wish I was more helpful, but I am not very savvy, so I will just state my opinion.
To me yes it is worth it, especially since that companion is shared in your team. I personally concentrate on attack, crit, and accuracy, every now and then I may put something else, if I have some leftover money from some other purchase I dont mind spending.
In my logic the companion doesn’t die, he only gets stunned when hit, so I sort of concentrate on damage more, assuming that I will be dealing with the mobs myself mostly but if needed he’ll come and bite their butts off, which he does.
When you start a new character and your companion is super strong and leveled, you’ll be glad you spent some money on him.
That is just my opinion though… I guarantee no satisfaction lol.
But I really love my companion and he helped me deal with bosses many times, at times he was that extra damage that I needed to kept me alive.
