Hey

A lot of dicussion about TP prices among players. Doesnt seem like there is enough consideration for how much TP costs?

99 TP = 10 USD? Thats pretty expensive.

198 TP Token is basically 20 Dollars. Thats more then a world of warcraft subscription.

Specially for a game where things arnt entirely working properly.

  • Guild Events arnt working.
  • Cant get guild companions.
  • Class selection can be so wild, and stat reset potions arnt going to be an option in the TP shop?
  • Leveling can be very tedious at some levels. Like, huge brick walls, and a lack of consideration for the awareness of players needing to know how to utlize their EXP cards efficiently.

Other

  • Companions are generally not very effective unless youre a mounted class or a hunter. Only 3 classes can utilize it to make it better. They should really not take up a character slot. They can be see as generally being uselss. THey do not effect combat at all. Not even at higher level.

Well, for my region (Russia) veteranā€™s pack costs more than average AAA gameā€¦ For example DOOM costs ~28 USD (1900 rubles) and veteranā€™s pack ~33. Rubleā€™s exchange rate is 1:66 (real is higher). The price in rubles is 2200. Average salary isā€¦ well, itā€™s different for different regions but for my city 30-35k (one of the highest).

For my region (Singapore), 100 TP costs S$12.36 on EU/NA servers, and S$7.42 on SEA/SA servers. Why is there even a different rate for different servers? Although I may be from SEA region, I am playing EU server because my friends are there. So Iā€™d have to pay the higher rates.

If thatā€™s all there was to it, it wouldnā€™t be a big deal. However, steam only allows me to top up my steam wallet in multiples of $6. In order to buy 100 TP, I would have to top up $18.

And not to mentionā€¦ 100 TP isnā€™t even enough to buy a costume or a hairstyle. Since they cost around 150 TP, Iā€™d need to buy the 100 TP option twice. $12.36 x 2 = $24.72, or $30, rounded up to the nearest multiple of $6. For a hairstyle, I would not pay that much. Maybe $5 or maximum $10, but $30 is a little ridiculous, especially given the current state of the game. Not saying that itā€™s a bad game, this game really does have potential, but it needs a lot of working on.

Judging from the constant arguments people have with each other over shouts in-game, Iā€™m sure someone will inevitably bring up the argument that ā€œpeople who have a job can afford itā€, and to that, Iā€™d like to say this: I am one such person who does have a job, and can afford it. However, just because I can afford something, doesnā€™t mean I will want to buy it. You should also consider what else I could have bought with $30, or in economics terms, ā€˜opportunity costā€™.

Also, why is it more expensive to buy TP in bulk? The options for buying 300, 500, or 900 TP cost a few cents more than what it would cost to buy 100 TP 3/5/9 times. I think that people should be given discounts for buying in bulk instead of being penalized :laughing:

No matter what this game TP is consider really high as we always need to regen our token per monthā€¦
So like monthly fee+ cash-shop spend for a game that is not even completed yetā€¦
Even in-game currency item rose up to million here and there but in field earning so littleā€¦
