Probably but I haven’t seen enough of them myself to be sure if they are supposed to only spawn on the same map. I’ve seen a stone whale in Tenet garden and that’s what I’ll be looking for in the client to see if I can get information like this
Links to TOSBase that are posted in alone a line should now be changed into a little preview boxes
Here are some examples:
Item DB
Attribute DB
Monster DB
Skill DB
World Map
I hope this feature will help you to notice links that are interesting for you
Was curious to know if TOSBase was going to make a gallery detailing the player customization choices?
I would like to create some kind of stylist tool that allows players to combine class costumes, hair styles, hair colors and maybe even headgears but I’m not completely sure if and when I will be able to create something like this. The main problem is that the visual data is not as easy to extract as other data values. If I won’t be able to implement it I’ll probably add some kind of image overview on tosbase with hair styles and headgears
Suggestion time! About the new world map, since there are areas that can only be entered through specific areas and can’t be seen or known by just looking at the overview of the world map, for example, Crystal Mines 2F or Tenet Chapel 1F. Maybe putting someway of knowing that there are more levels/places to go beyond just that area that can’t be seen through the world map would be a cool thing to add.
its wrong, if you stay in the same class (like swordsman circle 01 going to swordsman circle 02) you can spend the carried points in the skills of the second rank as soon as you change circle.
Its not possible IF you change class (like swordsman going to peltasta).

My explanation was true, back then when TOSBase hasn’t changed & updated their simulator and implemented the things you said. And the system that is actually implemented in the game is the one you said. You just replied my outdated info (2 months ago).
Oh, nice, I need to update mine as well, still using the guessed old system… =(
Btw your skill calculador is very nice, did you use php+mysql?
The simulator is basically 100% javascript, only server backend like saving is done in php + mysql.
Like I thought, maybe I can use a form for the actual calculator, gonna try.
Thx.
Because of the extended maintenance of kTOS we decided to move back to the korean version so we updated all our data (skills, abilities, maps, monsters, npcs, recipes, drops, spawns) to the current kTOS version (August 20th).
While I was looking at the kTOS client I also wrote down some infos I that seemed interesting to me and wrote a news about it. I also added some npc artworks I found and images of one of the new instanced dungeons
I wish you, and ToSBase the best of luck.
Given the KR CBT3 patch notes being released everyday, it seems like an annoying task to keep up with how volatile the situation is… Of course, these are REAL changes that will be coming to iCBT, and not what anyone makes a thread about in the feedback sections of this forum.
So updates are very much appreciated, especially on the specifics of CD changes, damage nerfs, meticulous details. A lot of things to come too. Best of luck.
@1:08-1:18 That ToSBase website doe.
For the new instance dungeon Catacombs Underground Dungeon, it looks the same as the Cathedral Basement Dungeon that was available to explore in the iCBT, is this normal or a typo?
Also for the NPC database, can i suggest making each one clickable to show their location on the world map, or show the name of the map they are on with their location on that map?
Another quick suggestion i have is for dungeons and cities on the world map to have different colored circles, keeping green for fields, maybe red for dungeons, and blue for towns.
Looking forward to helping you guys out next beta, keep up the good work! :>
I’m pretty sure the images are of the correct map. Probably they use the same map model for both dungeons so it’s simply an instance version of that dungeon with stronger monsters / bosses.
Yeah, the NPC database still needs lot of work. We currently don’t have any position data saved. Once get position information we will add it t the database.
Different icons for different types of maps sounds like a good idea
This is something i was already planning to collect info about next beta, along with finding as much drop rate info from monsters as i can, treasure chest locations, etc. I had explored every map available during our iCBT but didn’t think to screen shot everything sadly, i found most of the job master NPCs too :<
- We added some improvements to our Item Database. The “Dropped By” list now displays 3 monster per row so there is less unused space and you have to scroll less to see the content below.
- For each item you will now see the items / recipes that require this item as crafting material.
Is a good example to see the changes. There are many monsters that drop this items so before you had to scroll a lot. It also displays 3 recipes that this item is required for
So whenever you find some weird items you will now be able to check if you want to keep them or not by simpy checking the database e.g.
This item doesn’t look too important but it it required for many items including
which is required for

@Flash
is it possible to add info if skill:
- skill can be channel cast while moving
- skill cast channeling canceled when attacked
- cast time
- number of charges
thnx
I posted on the false thread about this, so check my first post on this thread out. It’s post #38. Just click that little arrow pointing to the right and you’ll be linked there or the arrow down to drop-down the post.
