I only got to rank 3 during the beta, and at that point i already had enough skills with charges to cycle through during boss fights that my mana was gone in a few seconds. So yeah, it’s fine the way it is, if they lower cooldowns they may have to lower charges too, which would suck.
No thanks, we don’t need another game where people use macros/scripts/bots to play the game for them. 2-3 second cooldown on pots should be the minimum.

Macros are already available… Remember about the “bot archers”? 
Sure, we don’t need bots. Everybody here are against these scumbags… But hey, that’s IMCGames’ work, to prevent their arrival, to block the third-party programs, etc…
RO proves that no potion CD didn’t manage to kill the party play.
you partied in RO because it was cheaper than spamming pots,

Yes, i saw a video of someone putting a weight on their Z key, but there are already gaming keyboards/mice with built in macro features too, and having 0 cooldown on potions just encourages people to use those macros instead of getting carpal tunnel from hitting their potion hotkey 10+ times a second. With a 2-3 second cooldown or more there would be much less of a need to use macros, since i don’t think IMC can do much to prevent something that is built into people’s keyboard/mouse.

We were talking about RO, not GE. But no matters.
Parties in RO, that’s not because it’s cheaper. It’s because it’s impossible to solo some MVP (depending on server/rates/classes of course).

This discussion becomes pointless and OoS… Well! Back to the main subject (if you don’t mind).
CD are a good thing. But like alcohol, it’s good with some restrain.
Reducing some of these may be a good idea, especially for the pots.
For skills’ CD, I think they were pretty good, no need to modify them.
But I miss the spammable pots, and it’s just my opinion as a honest player (not a bot/macro/3rdpartyprogs user).

I have a friend that does that xD but he has already godlies and lots of MVP cards, so I don’t think that it really counts in this discussion… RO is really broken anyway ;p

If you read it well, I said it depends on the server, on the rates, on the classes.
Because iRO is a “nice” server, and is not the only one server to play RO.
The rates for looting MVP cards, for upgrading stuff, etc…
And the classes… Do I really need to show you the differences between a ranger and a royal guard, or a genetic? You have to make different characters, of course!
I was only speaking of spamming potions, because it can be helpful to survive.
Spamming skills is another matter, more questionable indeed.
i agree that you want ToS as a strong independent DPS who dont need no heals and tankers with your 9999 mega-potions in the inventory.
