I like the idea of no CD skills. When people argued that skills take too much sp, then this itself acts as a bottleneck to limit spamming (with potions also having a CD). However, in my opinion, a mixture of no CD and skills with CD (even up to minutes) as well as skills with cast time give alot of variety. People mentioned that there will be alot of skills to use at higher levels. My concern with that is that some skills might be the same or similar just under different names and visuals.
because its a no brainer, the most OP skill spammed always leaving no room for creative builds. with slow CD your forced to think about your cahracter planning

trust me, by the time u reach lv 200 with rank 4 in future CBTs or open beta, you would have too many skills… the CDs now is perfectly fine

Though there are skills all ready with cast time’s. We must also remember ToS isn’t RO. Nor do we want it to be, this was the update most players wanted to see as a great MMO. No CD would simply have everyone use a fast, high DPS skill and leave combo skills, and skills with much greater potential with lack of use, but you don’t have to wait. System is great as is.
That’s not always the case depending on your class build. For example, my Alchemist in the extended KR beta who is currently lv 180 was previously Pyro 1 > Psychokino 3 which gives me very little amount of reliable skills. All of my good DPS skills have high cooldown (about 20 seconds or more) so I still often find myself running around or casting a CC skill just to buy time. And let’s not mention the drawbacks each DPS skills have…
No skill CD: awful idea.
No pots CD: awesome idea (because it was really fun in RO).

Yeah, still a matter of button bashing. But for survival reasons.
It’s not the same thing as skill spamming.
Even the most basic gamer mouse has a macro button nowadays… making survival depending on how many potions you can carry kills the need for support classes in the late game.
IMHO the current CD balance in the game is fine, the game is fun as it is right now in this aspect
its the same premise, during iCBT if there wasnt a potion CD i would have killed multiple bosses already but no we have to find a cleric to have heals.

You’re right about the “killing the need for support”-thing. But even in the late game, I’m not sure that you’ll be able to solo the game. Bosses get tougher. Keep in mind that bosses you’ve met during the iCBT where just some kitties (weak)…
I know ToS isn’t RO, but RO proves that no potion CD didn’t manage to kill the party play.
Well, you don’t seem pretty fond of no potion CD, but maybe if the pots CD was reduced a bit, that will be helpful for solo players in early game. And add some dynamism in party play too… I guess.
