Why not just try an easier fix and lower the resist %'s of Beak Mask and the duration of Bloodletting rather than go and change all the debuff ranks and try and balance around an already imbalanced class?
There isn’t much IMC would need to change to make PD not so powerful, the nerfs it needs aren’t too much. Minor changes like these would have a big effect.
how you wanna buff CC classes in order to bypass bloodletting? other than “cannot be resisted” - wich makes bloodletting a useless skill xD so it needs a nerf or “balance” aka “applies 7 times at max level”
But how would you buff other classes against stone skin? If you adding a bunch of block penetration to weapons or something then it’s still nerfing the skill in some way. Nerfs aren’t a bad thing as long as they are not over done and it can be harder not to over do it if you are not directly influencing it.
A lot of you think just because it’s Plague Doctors on the top 50 that it’s some Plague Doctor skill causing that, but you have to think about the fact that the most chosen rank 7 class is Plague Doctor. So it’s not necessarily Plague Doctor itself that’s making them so high up on that list, but rather just something that’s common among clerics.
Think about how there is hardly any swordies and archers on this list. They do the physical damage. Stone Skin blocks this physical damage. When you see it work, you’ll know what I’m trying to get at. If you nerf stone skin this chart will be more balanced.
Plague Doctor’s skills are strong but not that strong.
The only broken skill for PD is bloodletting. No reason why the duration and cooldown should be where they are.
That or make the skill have charges.

buffing is NOT better than nerfing depending on how you want YOUR baby, YOUR game to go… if you are the creator of the game, you want to nerf… if you are a player of the game, you want buff. because players always desire their specific chars, to be stronger than the content… if you are a creator, you want everyone to struggle equally, without some OP DBZ ■■■■.

Nah, just change durations and things like that. Really, the big problem is 100% uptime, meaning no window for counterplay.
