To whom it may concern

Guys, instead of ranting about the game in it’s early stage, why not go play other games for the mean time, go study, go to work. And go back once it’s been release to f2p. Or much better wait until severs for different region are setup for those who are complaining about the lag and for those complaining that they cannot play.

For those ranting about the trades. STOP! JUST STOP! Puck Out! They disable those for a good reason. One good reason is to prevent those pesky sellers! So just wait for the actual release.
Buys Token. Yes you can trade if you have a token. Ohh, why it has limitations you say? Why!? So they can easily identify if your transactions are legit or if your buying silver from those illegal sellers that is flooding the shouts.
If you are ranting about this for the whole time, my only thoughts are that your either one of those seller. Or your eager to buy from those sellers. So get lost! We don’t need you guys here!

If you experience some bugs or error on quest or items or something else report them, instead of ranting. Lets make this a great game. We all know your here because you like the game. It’s only been a week guys. Can we all just start making this game happen. Cooperate don’t make it worse. It’s not helping.

There is no other game I want to play until Dark Souls 3. So no. I will not play another game because other games do not interest me.

I dunno. I think that given the fact that even with trades pretty much noexistent, it obviously hasn’t stopped the gold selling spam. Nothings stopping them from making 100 accounts and just sitting around for 20 hours to get 5 megaphones each, yeah?

Most of the time, actually buying gold isnt the issue players have. Its actual effects on the in game economy are argueable I think. What pisses people off is gold farmers hogging spawns and the constant spam - none of which is actually solves by limiting trades - the evidence is right there on your chat box.

So yes, I think people have a legitimate right to complain that their ability to do basic game functions is being curtailed due to a completely ineffective prevention method.

Its the same reason people bitch about always-online DRM, or people who don’t like using steam or origin in general. No different at all - if you’re going to take away someone’s freedom to do something in exchange for something else, you need to be able to deliver on the ‘something else’. Which isnt happening here.

Primo, this game is a month away from official realease.
It had many betas in all regions.
It’s in no way “early”, it’s simply broken like an alpha.

Secundo Disabling trade has no effect on silver sellers, if you’ve been playing the game you would immediately see that gold-sellers are active 24/7. It only makes it slightly inconvenient, but still not all that difficult.
what It does instead is, it punishes the player . In fact by proxy forces the players to buy tokens, if they want a multiplayer experience.

Lastly No reason to report bugs if year old bugs aren’t fixed yet.

You can still progress pretty fast even with the restrictions it doesnt bother me, i can buy anything i want because youre pretty much drowning on silvers. So far so smooth soloing from 1 to lvl 120 currently. i havent even farm yet but i have 500k+?

I don’t know why so many of you guys keep white knighting for IMC and the Early Access release so far. It’s plagued with issues, and it’s not unreasonable for people to expect better for something they paid for. Hardly anybody’s complaining about the game itself; the problem is IMC’s service and design choices here.

There should have been enough stress tests to prevent most of these server issues. There really should have been staff working for the very first weekend of the launch to ensure things were smooth. Keep in mind that they chose steam as their publishing platform and lots of people will be quick to write negative reviews. Those reviews will bring down the overall rating of the game and it will ultimate hurt their F2P launch success when people click on ToS, see the Mixed/Negative reviews, and pass over a good game.

Also, everyone arguing that this system is about stopping gold sellers are just deceiving themselves. Gold selling and gold buying will happen in almost every US/International MMO and its’ an inevitability. You can literally see for yourself. Bots spamming all the time, trash items on market for hundreds of thousands of silvers for gold sellers to buy, etc. All these trade/market limitations are doing are hurting the playerbase. It’s sending the message that IMC dislikes gold sellers more than it likes its own playerbase. There are other ways of hindering gold sellers and there are many reasonable suggestions that IMC should be looking at and probably are.

As for us making this happen? We all want this game to work out. Deep down beneath all of this bs, it’s an amazing game. But if it works out or not is completely dependent on IMC. Don’t fool yourself. These white knight posts are way more annoying than the ones complaining.

They just dont get a refund, and move on. If you dont like the way they are handling the game or the direction is taking, leave. Staying is a choice, if you do choose to stay stop complaining and wait for things to happen. This is what i cannot understand at all. Adults should be able to handle that at least. Assess the situation make a decision stick to it, complaining is what immature people do imo.

Would it really hurt to just wait? We’ve all waited for this. It’s only been 6 days since they open this founders server. They imposed limitation to lessen more bugs it will cause. While they are trying to find a way to fix the current bugs. They really haven’t tell everyone to eagerly buy the DLC. F2P where supposedly to be release on June 19th. We the playerbase requested for an earlier release.

We all want to enjoy this game. If we keep on complaining this might not end well for all of us. If this end to a failed release, due to this enormous complaints.

It’s easy to just say that this if this function is not working properly report it wait while their trying to fix the problem. Don’t try and try to do something if its not working properly. Skip it. All games have bugs even big titled games have bugs.

We’ve all waited for this game. It will not hurt waiting for a couple more weeks or months to solve the case. Only for those who knows how to do programming will understand how hard it is to locate and identify the causes of this errors.

No. The ‘if you don’t like it, then leave’ response is what’s immature here. Most people are complaining because they really like the game and know it can be better.

I mean, most of us ARE waiting. I’m not over here threatening to quit and I think the ones that are threatening to quit are wrong here as well. But honestly if this launch backfires because IMC can’t deal with complaints then it shows just how incompetent they are. And you’re right; all early access games have issues at launch because of developer oversights. And that’s why you have people complaining. My post is really just directed at posts complaining about complainers.

they are active, but their numbers are going down, and the price is a lot more expensive than just buying token and selling in the market.
it IS working, just wait some weeks and we will see the goldsellers go dooown…

There nothing immature about that, that basically is how everything works in real life, if you do not like the terms of service leave. Not sure on what country you live, but in the US that the way it works. It is a fact, you go buy anything the first thing they do is make you agree to the fact that if you dont like the way they do business the door is wide open (for you is called the terms of service). Obv the situation with online games is not the same, but it does illustrates my point. The product is not to your liking, refunds are offered. People have zero right to lash out just because they did not get what they wanted, when they are allowed ur money back.

So, because you say it’s inevitable, just give up? I see alot of bot spamming, but i also see their prices dropping every day. Obviously people aren’t buying. I don’t care how many trash items you see on the market for hundreds of thousands of silver.

I don’t understand how you don’t see how it limits prevents trading items for real money though. Removing the restrictions would open the door for them. I could explain it if you need me to.

I had an idea btw on the trading issue. My suggestion was allow 1:1 trading without a token, except for purple or higher gear and headgears. This is pretty much the only things people would sell for real money. No reason to restrict trading on everything else.

I think this is a good compromise.

Please don’t call it this, because if it was, it would have a nice big blue flag at the top on the steam store. Early Access implies certain things that were not communicated clearly at all on the steam store. Maybe people who’ve followed the game for awhile would know, but if you’re only going by the Steam Store page, it look like any other ‘Preorder Now, Get To Play Before The Crowd’ package for an MMO. Not to mention it’s now listed as Free To Play on the ‘purchase’ button - It looks just like any other released game.

If they are treating it like Early Access and not clearly labeling it so on the place theyre selling it, that’s deceptive and unethical. End of story.

Not give up. There are better methods that don’t punish the playerbase. And I’m in no ways advocating that they remove the restrictions. Instead I think they should come up with a better method that benefits us players. Maybe they can try giving us limited daily trades based on our Class Rank? Like class rank 1 and 2 would be unable to trade, and 3 onwards would get scaling daily trades. People with token could get more daily trades. Your suggestion is also sound.

Oops…I meant Exclusive Access. You’re right.

It is immature. Let’s go down the reasons, yes?

  1. It belittles other people’s frustration over the fact that they spent money on something they can’t play, or is frustrating to make use of. Belittling other people’s emotions is counterproductive.

2). It advocates a certain brand of defeatism, that changing things through intelligent speech is impossible, because it belittles the desires or suggestions for change that another individual has developed based on their experiences.

  1. Its an incredibly self-centric way of simply stating ‘I don’t care what your opinion is, only mine matters’, which is ultimately selfish.

  2. It has long term implications, because if everyone who was annoyed over something decided to stop playing right now, a huge portion of the playerbase would be gone - denying IMC future potential income, and bringing the possiblity of future development to halt because the game would no longer be as profitable as it could be for them.

I’ve got more. Should I keep going?

Not quoting that whole wall as it will just be clutter. None of your points apply to what is happening.

  1. Telling people complaining is for immature people is belittling now? oki

  2. just going to lol, as you are just saying the same as point one with different words. Also in no way shape or form is the comments on this forums against the Dev inlelligent speech or done in an open discussion tone.

  3. Now i think you are just trolling, there is absolutely nothing that says idc for others opinions, complaining and expressing ur opinion about a subject are very different concepts.

4)Once again you just repeated the same thing, all your 4 point express the same point on different sides. The fact you are annoyed does not give you right to lash at the dev(apply your point 3 to your 4 four btw).

Keep going if you like, in the same way you attempted to counter my points with you own, your flawed logic pales in comparison to mine. The fact the complains on this forums are expresses in nothing more than flaming rages opens no route for logical discussion and that is why i believe them to be immature in the end.

Considering how strong they feel about that, they openly made a thread inciting people to report the game on steam tell me again what part of that is intelligent speech. No adult person would act so childish when the logical solution to their problem is to grab a refund and comeback later when changes happen.

sorry but i dont think any if your points hold any value to the current issue with the flamers not giving the dev time to fix the game problems(my opinion ofc). That being said you are entitled to that just like im entitled to mine.

‘if you don’t like it, just leave’ is one of the most worthless and valueless statements. it does NOT solve problems. get that in your head.

Many people here WANT to stay, they just want the problems to be resolved. Many problems have been reported since last year and so they have had time to work on it.

Incompetence is incompetence. When people defend it (like you), you’re really only hurting the company and the players, not anyone else.
