The thing is what many people are considering a problem others dont. That what you and others that support that point of view need to get on their heads(to use your own words). Many of us know there is issues, and think they will get solved in time. End of story. Telling people that if they do not like how they are doing things to take their REFUND(again they get their money back so is the same as if they had never been invited to play the game) and leave is a viable option on my opinion. Im not telling them to leave as it seems critical reading does not apply to people sometimes.
TLDR: Stop complaining and wait until things get resolved, if you dont like that get the refund and leave, in other words if your issue is listed under âknownâ what you are doing is QQ to use a more known term. That pretty much my point in one long sentence.
I agree that people shouldnât harp on problems which are already listed as known.
However, the issue is more of the problem having persisted across the entire weekend, with no suitable recourse and no active communication by the developers side. Even now, on Monday morning, thereâs still not even a bare acknowledgement that they have heard us and are working on the issues.
Mind you, Iâm personally not as affected by the problems since I wasnât as active this weekend. But I could see where many people were coming from, and while there were many whiners, there were equally as many legitimate complaints as well.
Also, I donât think a refund is possible.
Anyhow, people are entitled to complain if they get a problem. Whether it helps solve the problem is besides the point. What matters is whether the complaint is legitimate. The complaints right now are about inability to access the game, to do dungeons, complete disappearance of market items, gold seller spam, bots and 3rd party programs etc. They are serious problems and just saying âthey will be solved in timeâ doesnât cut it. A good company needs to take a stand and show the playerbase that they are committed and serious about dealing with these problems.
Did you missed the part were, countless people have said, their company is rather new and does not have the capital to keep on the clock workers. They were off on the weekend(true this part sucks but that happens everywhere), is Monday and Tuesday is maintenance. Would you not think that instead of the countless flaming thread they should off just waited until after maint and see if anything at least started moving forward?
Obv the above is more speculation that factual information, but considering what i read from others post, im inclined to believe it(also the #paybeta).
I didnât vote for jack. Yes I waited around for this game, but as far as intricate details went, all I knew was every now and again Iâd check on classes and a release date. I was even unfortunately too busy real life to catch the CBT. So I paid money for a game, and like with any product, I expect it to work. Iâm understanding to the fact itâs new, and there will be problems. However the amount of new bugs, and if you look at old reviews, bugs unfixed - is ridiculous. Iâm not a tech but I highly doubt something couldnât have been done to fix at least OLD bugs.
So no, I wonât go play another game. I love this one, I want to see it get fixed, and I paid money for it, expecting them to deliver while listening to my feedback. What else needs to be said?
Some people are busy and can only play on weekends yet they canât play decently without some server issue hindering them. I personally recommended the game to friends from past games and half of them are already so pissed at whatâs happening. I find myself wishing I hadnât until IMC fix their issues.
It honestly saddens me that you donât understand this. Do you even know what the definition of belittle is?
Iâll help you:
âverb; gerund or present participle: belittling
to make (someone or something) seem unimportant.â
By telling people that complaining about things they donât like is immature, you are directly doing this, plain and simple. You are telling them that their opinion, their frustration, doesnât matter in the slightest and that they need to grow up. So yes, you are belittling them.
Look at your whole post. âIm just going to lolâ, âYou are just trollingâ, referring to âflawed logicâ without any kind of explanation of how its flawed. Textbook use of fallacies here.
Iâm not talking about people sitting around making rage posts filled with all caps and crying, here. They do need to learn to sit back, take a deep breath and complain calmly, yes, for a variety of reasons. For one, it makes them look like spoiled brats. But that doesnât make whatever theyâre complaining about less of an issue development-wise.
However what Iâm talking about here is the people who say things like âIf you dont like it, leaveâ. Those people are every bit as bad. They are trying to sweep issues under the rug, and if everyone keeps doing that, things just arenât going to get fixed.
In fact, if people feel strongly enough that they were ripped off, yes they absolutely should report the game. People complaining is how change happens. This is very basic. If someone does something you donât like, and noone ever tells them differently, they arent going to magically realize they should change that suddenly. If a game company changes a mechanic, and everyone hates it, but nobody complains about it, theyâre not likely to fix it are they?
So yes, once again âif you donât like it, just leaveâ is immature.
Right yes. I donât disagree, when it comes to people making threads filled with pure rage. But guess what? You canât actually get a refund for your TOS purchase on steam, now can you? Go look at the store page, Mr Belittler, because it clearly states âThis product is not eligible for refundâ.
So congrats on your âsuperiorâ logic, sir, in advising people to act in a way that is impossible.
I think you own quote fits more with you than me. Anybody would know you are trying to stretch the meaning to fit your own agenda. In nobody book telling someone they are immature for complaining about something that is already noted and being address belittling.
Think what you want as you are entitled to your opinion, dont try to twist my comment to fit the âim making fun of people agenda you are implyingâ. That being said, if your make illogical claims, yes i just âlolâ and ignore it as i think it just a waste of time to try and discuss with people that are not open to see the other side.
From the start all the comments where directed to the fact that there was no need for people to complain and flame about stuff that were under âknow issuesâ. Let me tell you, guess what some of them are already fixed and others are underway.
^ that why i lol, at the dumbfounded opinions you try to push without at least researching on the forums a bit. Many people have already stated how they got a refund on the general forum and made post saying the reason they choose to ask for one. So yea mister sarcastic, you are wrong
