Okay so I’ve been playing since the start and more exploring and such so I’m certainly not the highest level but I’m top 10% it seems
Anyways heres some pretty useful stuff since we seems to have lower rates then Korea and THE GRIND starts around 20ish
Weapons do different types of damages and certain monsters are weak to some types of damage. If you see 50% Slash or 50% Blunt or 50% Pierce. These are just like Ragnarok’s elemental or size bonuses flat out damage bonuses. Now you’ll see a lot of people recommending you upgrade your weapons with anvils but you could save some money and get a better weapon!. But depending on the area you’re in like the 20ish level of Sarautas Canyon and Gele Plateau most of the monsters here are very weak to Slash damage.
Now I’ve been keeping to my trusty mace like most Cleric players but Cinquedea Sword easily beats my +4 Morning star here by some good 10 damage on average! And thats like a good 2.5k of upgrades to the mace vs a non upgraded sword!
So do keep in mind what type of weapon you use against what type of opponent. If you see a boss take extra damage to slash or blunt, just F2 and switch to another weapon!
Plus theres also a switch weapon skill at your local class passive guy
