Tree of Savior Forum

Time to put positive energy back into TOS

Checking all your comments I can see that you are only trying to seek attention baiting people that are upset with the game management

Prove me wrong.

Nice attempt at trying to raise the mood a bit.

You just have to be aware that this is a forum that kind of has free range, allowing anyone and everyone to say what they wish.

You should always expect other players to have a different opinion then yours.

But if you’re really looking to create good vibes, keep trying. I kind of miss the days before opening when the community was really fun to be in.

I mostly miss all the awesome gifs…

I’m happy just for the raise dead fix, that’s pretty huge if you watch any of the videos from Kr ToS. Hopefully more posts like this will fill IMC with determination.

This. These forums used to be really nice. There really needs to be less whine threads and more constructive feedback as well as some general positive threads again. And not the same topic x10 crying about the same thing. All “goodbye” threads should just be auto delete.

I bet half the people crying don’t even play the game and are just trolling the forums. Part of the issue at hand is that self moderation isn’t the way to go. We really need some volunteer moderators to clean this place up.

I’d like to see some volunteer moderators too, but I fear for their safety. x’D

It’s more that they don’t communicate much.

Also IMC ignores volunteers for mods and GMs - maybe rightfully so but would it be so bad to take time out of a month to select a few?

Why do people keep saying IMC doesn’t communicate much? They post announcements throughout the week. They just don’t respond much to the general discussion section. Look at their announcements and news sections. There is more to the forums besides general discussion.

On another note keep in mind that I’m betting most of the staff doesn’t speak English. They are still a Korean company after all. It was the community that translated the game so they may not even have an official translator in their staff at all or just one person that translates everything that the staff says.

Stop being the worst community and they will communicate again.

I’m not trying to be negative on this point, because you’re probably correct. But knowing the audience they’d be releasing the game to,they should have prepared for this better. If you can’t adapt to your audience, especially in terms of communication, then you’re most likely going to fail.

I dont know how they handle this. Maybe just use google translate. Since it’s international, theyd need like 50 different interpreters on hand or just a few that know like 10 languages each. Just in case.

These forums are weird, that is my only real comment on them. I like the layout, but there are alot of oddities about these forums and how they manage them. It’s very laisez faire which is funny cause thats the opposite one of the common complaints you get on gaming forums, over moderation.

Ironic you talk about “making a real difference” when complaining or criticising the games faults is the best way a community can help the developers. If no one complained can you imagine how much fewer problems the developers can locate by themselves?

Please think before you open your gob.

Totally agree with Melon on this one

But… to elaborate on why I think people (including myself) say IMC doesn’t communicate much (if you were interested):

Announcements are one form of communication but regarding feedback and bugs (things that really annoy people) these usually only get announced after they’ve already fixed/implemented something. It makes a difference communicating something as you take note of a problem or as you start working on the fix not just after

It’s also really not on a personal level or related to some of the most pressing issues that we’ve brought up on the forum. A reply to a couple of users here and there would really go a long way. Maybe it is a cultural difference I don’t know

(PS. I would take a 2 second Korean post which I couldn’t understand any day over no post at all lol)

I would prefer IMC to put the Korean swordy buffs instead.

complain is such a kid mentality, why not use the word contribute but still keep it positive? please get your facts straight b4 your “open your gob” so basically what you’re saying i you don’t get what you “want” you are going to cry about it til you do. great thinking there buddy.

just look @ the topic, tell me what dose it say? yeah i’m no so polite with the people who’s coming in here flaming, sorry but not sorry.

I already purchased two DLCs and I cannot even log in with my characters. Silute is a complete mess, laggy as hell, with queue for hours and issues all over the place. There’s a reason why you see so many complaints.

im sorry xour.tos i really am. yeah they fk’ed up but please understand they’re only humans just like us.

Why do you need a reply from the staff saying “yes we are working on this bug that you posted” for every single bug post, when you know they’re working on bugs by either them saying in the announcements “we are working on other bugs not listed in the fixes” or the fact that they have continuously fixed bugs overtime if you read the patch notes fixes or looked into the ktos patch notes and saw fixes there.

We know they are fixing stuff. Imo, it just seems like a redundant waste of time to make them have to reply to EVERY topic instead of using that time to make the fixes or reply to specific people’s problems with tickets.
