With that i agree with you, but not SPR. INT does give a better damage to the chaplain.
That’s not true. Maybe it’s not as good as INT, but saying has zero scaling, it isn’t true. Besides, INT doesnt affect all other extra damage too.
It is true though. There is not a single skill in the build up to Chaplain that scales with STR. You could try and say the 1st hit of your auto-attack, but that is the case for EVERY build, so it is pointless to mention.

im level 15x with level 15 asperion and lvl.5 asper and with 15x spr I am clearing through mobs extremely quickly.
As Chaplain, INT effects Cure, heal (this shouldnt be used as damage if you are only cleric1), and Aspergillum damage. Aspergilums holy damage is the largest single part of your damage, especially against dark enemies.
Its true that INT doesnt scale majorly, which is why SPR is a more important stats for Chaplain overall, because SPR does scale with Stoneskin.
STR however scales with no Chaplain ability what so ever. Because of the bonusses to Aspergillum (100% attribute, last rites bonus holy damage, bonus holy damage against dark type enemies) INT gives a far larger bonus to damage then STR ever could.
Dex is also very weak because none of the extra hits (and most of your main hits damage) cant crit.
Personally I only have INT in my build at all because im going Druid2 after Chaplain, otherwise I would likely go CON/SPR all the way.
Remember to factor in the +(74?) atk against devils as well. I agree that + aoe attack ratio is a better stats tho.
+physical damage is weaker compared to +magic damage. With your aspersio attribute maxed magic damage is atleast twice as good.
Theres also some kind of damage bonus from last rites but its somewhat hard to test just how much it is.
I still don’t see how SPR gives a better damage boost over INT, or did I misunderstand?
Also, isn’t Heal + 100% based on int and not spr so doesn’t that by its own make INT the better choice?
The only benefit I see of going a lot of SPR is for stoneskin and pretty much nothing else.
Correct on both accounts.
Also int gets the +10% stat bonus per additional rank, which is why it deals more dmg in the end.
Spr does improve a few niche debuffs like zalciai and monstrance though, which adds a bit more use to it.
