So I just got Cataphract on my Swordsman, I was so hyped to mount up and have fun.
Class changed and everything, went to exchange the voucher… aaaand it’s asking me for 33 TP for a character slot.
Let’s just ignore the fact that it’s absolutely absurd that a MOUNT REQUIRES A CHARACTER SLOT…
No warning? No bold red text saying “YOU MUST HAVE TWO CHARACTER SLOTS FOR THIS CLASS”?
I have 3 other characters that are all high level, I can’t delete any of them.
Actually you are warned about it since the beggining… probably you didn’t read it but it is known since the beggining. It sucks, but well known.
Where in the game does it warn you? I didn’t see it, unless it’s somewhere in the quest text that I skip over instantly (like most people).
it doesnt warn you ingame. the people that say its known since the beginning assume you have read what they have read. thats it.
I think it is the quest at the beggining where the Templar Master send you to talk with the merchant and after that you need to talk with the Pet seller or something like that.
IMC are vegans they threat animals like a human being.
When you talk to the pet npc the first time you get a pet tutorial that has information on pets and how they work… go figure.
The exp of the companion goes for team level so i think its fair…
It’s the same with falconer or hunter? =/
Lol… I personally find this horrible and upsetting game design but it will be white knighted as fair and good game design here just like a lot of other things are.

Any companion, besides summons, consumes 1 character slot because the levels on them contribute on your team level which raises the % exp you get from monsters.
Is the same for Schwarzer Reiter.
I got a Voucher and he want 33TP.^^
But i got my Hoglan(lvl.210) with the EA Pack,so i dont need this second pet.
I would instantly give up the team level feature just to have a mount…

Is just 50% exp at lvl max, one slot cost you only 33tp …
Seriously i am gonna never undesrtand people nowaday…
team level at max goes up to +50% bonus exp. You would give up an almost 50% faster leveling experience (for lvl 1-210) on alts just for one character slot? smh
Id pay 33 tp to 50% more xp 24/7
Not just that, this feature allows you to swap your high level pets into your low level characters. I prefer it this way more than a character bound pet system.
Do you have a token? You can always wait till they give the compensation tp and buy character slots. Seeing how they’re the only thing worth buying.
but that means you need to have about 10 maxed characters (or more) right by time ou have that many maxed chars you wont need an alt.
