Dude, what the ■■■■? The point I’m defending in this thread is making a method to get extra character spaces from other players who paid IMC for them exchanging silver for TP/the item.
And the rest is just against it.

Well, heres how i see it.
I think there may be events in the future that could give TP. For example, guild battle will give quite a bit of tp. You can buy character slots with this. There is an spot that says “event tp” so im sure this will be a thing.
Another thought comes to mind, you spent 600 hours leveling 3 characters, now you cant spend 3 bucks on this game for another character slot?
I dont have a problem with tradeable items that give you a character slot. Wouldnt mind if they did this.

This is the point of the thread, giving a way to access this by getting the lodge from someone else who paid for it in exchange of in game currency.

We used to provide people with Korean Amazon EC2 hosted routing/VPNs for people to use for South Korean networking or projects.
I don’t exactly know if we used their services at the absolute worst possible times but those caused some of our worst downtimes.

I didn’t read the whole topic, but…
with default of 4 characters.
even if u play hunter->falconer. U still able to have 2 characters. Is that not enough for u, f2per?
Take ur free time and play those 2 characters to lv280 (which should require over 500+ hrs to do that)

Easy solution here guys wait until they remove new player restriction and make you a new account so you can have more space I mean the team exp is negligible anyways. All free to play games make you pay for extra character slots just be glad IMC not making pay for skill slots like in Elsword.
But it can go up to 49% bonus…

or bringing back people into reality who thinks everything in life is or should be free. You’re not forced to play more than four (two with companion) characters. And if you play that much that you need more space, i guess spending 33 TP is just fair. (You’re not sounding like you supported the game so far with buying packs / TP)
Also notice that the amount doesn’t inrease per slot, it’s always 33 TP for another char/companion.

If that’s really the point of this thread, maybe you should say that in your opening post then? You should take a look at what you wrote:
you don’t mention that idea anywhere in your opening post. Instead, you went for inflammatory bait post.
It’s a F2P game, what do you expect? Having to pay extra for a character slot is baseline for these kinds of games. Yes, the pet taking one slot is weird design by you can understand why (not saying that I support this though).
Of all the possible P2W issues this game may have, I think this is way down the list.
Please stop spreading misinformation. Because you heard coup d’é·tat and you liked the fancy term doesn’t mean you can throw it freely around the web. We had elections just every 4 years. If you are not happy with the results wait for the next elections and cast your vote. We were nowhere next to a coup d’é·tat by miles.
Character slots are commonly sold in cash shops for both F2P and B2P games. It makes more sense to monetize a “luxury” than it does to monetize a function of the game. Luxuries are optional, like choosing to level up multiple characters, or what classes you decide to play.
By asking them to provide more character slots for free instead of paying for them, you are basically saying; “I think we should not pay for luxuries, and you should focus on earning your revenue from another source” - wherein lies the problem. There is already enough disdain for IMC in regards to the fact that we’re paying for Tokens designed to alleviate a lot of restrictions on just base game functions (such as trading, dungeon runs, buff counts, etc) - they don’t need to add more of that on top.
Further, the nice thing about an F2P game is that if you have made the decision to never pay the game company a dime, you can do so - but not at a cost to the game company. They should not be punished for your decision to not give them money for anything.
Yep… I know. That’s why I’ve become a cynic here who has zero faith in this game. I tried to talk against things that are really annoying / frustrating game design only to be told to stfu, called bad or to just ‘deal with it cuz it’s somehow justified’.
Why am I still on these forums? Who the hell knows but this game has some of the strangest game design elements I’ve ever seen and they are frustrating and annoying people but nothing can be done because of the White Knight Legions.
So far you’ve been called ‘entitled’, you’ve been told to ‘deal with it’, you’ve been told to just ‘buy more character slots’.
But the point is… pets and mounts take up a character slot. It’s annoying game design, that’s why people are talking about things like this with a dumbfounded expression like, “Seriously…?”
Oh well. Just gonna sit here reading the white knights justify poor game design in a game that’s losing player population, eat my popcorn, link my friends comments being made and have a blast.

hmmm. coming from Dnsea the free char slot is really small for free players. this game boasts alotnof char class and combinations. so i understand op why 4 char slots is small for him. i think 6 should have been enough for pets and chars.
op must be from dn too? if they add more classes to the current roster, giving away 1 free char slot would be nice. this is just my opinion. dont kill me please.
then again, who the fvck will torture himself/herself with 4,5,6 280 characters? xD no lifer? haha 
PS: how much is one char slot? was that 150? im not sure
Mabinogi is rly bad example for this… I also wanted to explain it but it would be a long off topic… Mabinogi has a different slot mechanic just end it like this. X) Also they are quite generous now there you can have lot of free chars and pets.
I actually don’t like either that pets take up a normal character slot. I think they should make a separate pet slot for them.
I think 4 character slots and 2-3 pet slots would be great and more than enough for free players. Ppl would buy extra pet slots too anyway because a lot of ppl would like to have a lot of different pets imo.
