This game is in open beta, please understand dont quit

So now it’s embarrassing to expect a company to communicate with its players? It is better to just shut up and give them money without saying anything?

I’m not sure who is the ignorant one, you or me.

If IMC cannot take care of both kTOS and iTOS at the same time, yet still decide to do it, that means they made a bad move, and now players have to suffer because of it? (ironically they never said that they are overloaded due to taking care of both versions, nice communication)

Agree… how I wish there are some sort of item or gem that can give immunity to freeze but changes the character’s attribute so he/she will take double damage from fire. At least this gives more gearing choices and makes classes without cc immunity viable.

I’m not against debuffs. Don’t need for such gem coz there’s a Cleric skill that removes debuffs. Its the duration I’m concerned. Maybe its just me who wants the debuff duration to be like 10 seconds maximum or lower.

just take a year break and come back to try play again

Some other games have some sort of incremental resistance and lowered duration to CCs too which will be great if it is in ToS.

eg. 1st instance of freeze 4secs, 2nd instance of freeze/cc while frozen or within 5secs after being defrosted have its duration cut by 50% (becomes 2sec), and it gets lesser and lesser until it reaches 0.5sec and the character wun get freezed anymore for around 10secs.

I already quit.

The only reason that’ll make me go back to the game is if IMC starts caring.
For now, it seems that they just want to milk as much money as they can from us before they leave the game in the dust.

This post contain information on how the development and issue IMC addressed so far. posted by IMC admin, scroll to top and check the post that is resolved by the admin on page 107.

This isnt an open beta read your own thread. People have posted the anouncement from IMC themselve saying its not a beta.

Edit WHile your at it reread the Terms of Service. It doesn’t say that Tree of Savior is in a beta it talks about their beta policies if one is running. the game has been fully released.

I think it’s funny how many people talk about “this is beta because reason X” and “no’ its not beta because reason Y” when they have no understanding about what alpha versions and beta versions actually mean.
It’s also sad how the terms alpha version and beta version have been bastardized by the modern “early access”-gaming industry, completely ignoring their intended meaning and abusing it as an excuse for incomplete and/or buggy release versions while already charging money for it.

According to the developers this IS Full release they skipped the open beta. Also unlike you i actually link IMCs own posts where have you done that in this thread?

"We consider communities to be an integral part of MMORPGs and we
consider each and every single player to be important to us regardless
of whether or not they pay for the game. We would also like to offer our
sincerest apologies for changing to a Founder’s Server after announcing
an Open Beta without sufficient explanation.

They canceled the open beta and went with a Founders access which was a early release to those who payed then ftp there is no open beta .So your saying you know better than the developers of the game? wow when did you become IMCs project manager?

i am a founder in firefall which was something that started in OBT. it was something that you bought before OBT started and gained early access to obt.

i am a founder in skyforge. which was also a founders pack you bought and gained access 3 days before the rest of OBT.

i am a founder here on a “founder server” which is just another name for the same beta phase its currently in.

the news and info that you provide saying its not open beta because they chagned the name, doesnt mean they changed the plan.

you cant really skip stages of a games development. they can call it what they like, but they are i the phase that they are in.

The issue is when they call it and sell it as a full release when its not in that state it creates certain expectations of quality. A MMO release doesnt have to be perfect but they have issues from the betas they never fixed before deciding to slap the full release title on. IMC brought many valid complaints on thier head due to relabeling the games state. If they has sold it as a closed and open beta the issues would still exist people would still complain but the expectation of a stable game would not be there. Lableing this as a full release regardless of the state the game is in was one of two things a cash grab move or incompetent management. Neither one of those should be an excuse to give them a break. The FACT that they are sell this game as fully released on Steam doesn’t warrant saying Oh its in beta give them a break. They decided to sell as full release so they should be open to the criticisms that the expectation of a full release brings.

All that being said i want the game to do well but call it what it is a shoddy release.

Edit as for im a founder stuff you posted i bought 3 founders packs so my friends could play this game with me. Buying the founder pack doesn’t really lend much credibility to this argument either way as what you or I bought is irrelevant to whether this is open beta or not.

There’s a reason why this game is almost going into sub 50% rating on Steam and it’s not trolls or silly comments. What ever you want to call it is fine with me, but I’m just going to call it like I’ve seen it.

A mess and miserable failure RO 1.5β of a game.

Yea, they should keep it closed til they can fix stuff.

No argument there. Honestly though at the rate IMC is fixing things - we will be in ‘closed beta’ indefinitely.

If you actually think this game is a real Open Beta then you’re delusional.

The game has a cash shop open, this means that it is fully released.

If you believe otherwise then you are the problem with modern gaming.

Ha! I may be a dunce, but at least my dialogue does not smells like a skunk.
If you think the game is already out of open beta, so be it, but the open beta still exists, and the devs are trying to make the game playable, even though they are making several unforgivable mistakes by each patches.

Also, if the servers cannot hold too many players, is because due to players who are displased with the game bugs, are trying ddos attacks on their servers as a “mature vengeance”.

So hush you too.
