This Beta needs to have a period of time for maintenance every day

Having a period of daily maintenance to check bugs and the files would be a good idea and help to avoid things that impact the game so much such as the bug in the repair price and devalued selling price of lvl +40 items. I hope that IMC manage to fix the bug on this week. Because if not, one week of waiting will be enough to get people stop playing the beta because of the barrier for low level characters to evolve. Thus giving some really bad feedback in the future on internet/irl. because you know that most people just don’t care if it is beta or not. if they find a service bad they’ll bad mouth it without even thinking twice. just my two cents

Having a maintenance everyday wouldn’t really help. If they don’t know how to fix the problem yet why have a maintenance in the first place? That would make the community expect a lot more from then and expect every bug to be squashed before beta ends.

I disagree. The main issue here is that IMC hasn’t said anything about this gamebreaking bug other than “oh well it’s not working properly right now”. They’ve been waiting a whole week to try and fix minor things, that could be solved in less than an hour of maintenance, and throw around vague explanations like “trying to reduce botting”. People come cry about bugs and errors here all the time, it’s not like they don’t have instant feedback. It took them a day to fix the first server-sided catastrophe with @dic. How come we have to wait a full week to return to the game just because some ass ■■■■■■ up money ratings?

The only problem I can see with daily updates is that they might make their favorite sport, Archer nerfing, daily too.

I thought that our version just needed translating as the Korean beta was much further ahead???

I agree with you. I can’t really see how hard is it to fix the repair cost, unless they fked up the code really badly. Things related to tweaking number is usually the easiest to fix.

I can understand why they take weeks to fix other bigger problem (though i prefer they focus on it instead of minor fix which we don’t really care), but the repair cost made me doubt the Dev’s ability.

The problem right now is that on all three servers, we don’t have access to market, party, shout… Etcetera. It’s getting tiresome to list and with so many features just not there, it’s dreadful.

We’re playing with the content of kCBT3, the last korean CBT. We’re not really lacking content compared to them, what we’re lacking is a decent dev team. Seriously, what kind of beta test has so many trivial errors that would be fixed by one tester? Looks like the devs here are just messing with the code as they see fit once a week and then release the patch without any further tests. With the IPF problem, it’s the second week in a row with simple dev-side negligence ruining logins.

Now, the price on EVERYTHING being messed up? They justified it as “a means to control inflation”, but it made impossible to play the game at all. Everyone knows inflation is a problem, but changing stuff like that and NOT EVEN DOING THE MATH? Some people left the game for good yesterday after that fuckup. This is a beta and we’re testing the game, but this doesn’t mean the dev team has freedom to make it umplayable with uncalculated random uptades “just because”.
