[Theorycraft] Running Bleedmaster - PVE/PVP Hackapell Build (I appreciate your input)

This build will center around Fletcher’s Broadhead and Hackie’s Storm Bolt though I’m not sure if they do stack. If they don’t, I’ll scrap this build.

QS3’s Running Shot will serve as filler as well as to stack arrows, with Caltrops and Stone Shot as CC.

###1. A2 QS3 FL2 Hack1

  • better scaling evasion and crit rate bonus from Swift Step 10
  • lower Broadhead duration and damage
  • lower Magic Arrow damage
  • lower Bodkin def reduc debuff
  • no DMA

###2. A1 QS3 FL3 Hack1

  • lower evasion bonus from Swift Step 5 and no crit rate bonus
  • no Heavy Shot
  • better Fletcher skills overall
  • has DMA

###Some questions:

  1. Which of the two do you think would work better all-around? Why (besides the points I made)?

  2. Which is better for quick stacking arrows: Archer C2’s quick-charged multishot (can’t move while charging) or QS2’s lv.1 Rapid Fire (can move while charging)?

  3. Are there any alternative builds that aren’t to far from the two above that I should consider? Why?

Thanks in advance!

UP! /20charsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Curious about this too as I’m making your second build. I’m undecided on Mergen or Hakka as of yet, though Hakka would probably sync better I assume, particularly having caltrops, stone shot, and pavise for CC.

It’s seems ok for PVE but I don’t like the build for PVP personally. With all the damage swordies now do up close at rank 8 I’d rather kite them with mergen if I don’t have a hard disables or escapes.

Yeah, it’s really more of a “for fun” build as I’ve always liked mobile/mounted classes. I have a Cata3 which I’m really enjoying.

I’ve seen a somewhat similar build work in PVP really well as an SR2 (A2, QS3, FL1, SR2) though it does require a good investment in equipment (and luck for rolling a DGC).

While SR is also mounted, it didn’t have a speed boost mechanism like Hacka’s dash which is one of the things that sold the latter to me better.

As far as I’ve seen videos of the Hacka class at the moment, its skills are mostly lackluster (in terms of damage) for an R8 class except for Cavalry Charge (in terms of utility).

The feedback on hackapell is pretty bad at the moment because it’s not as popular as mergen and they get indirectly updated on ktos every patch.

One guy on reddit (psychoromeo) and I had a discussion and he is going your build 2. Magic arrow apparently counts towards hacka skills. He said he’d get back to me on it when he gets to rank 8. I’ll relay it to you if you’re still interested by that point.

What I’m doing myself:
I’m trying out the rogue route with a stat build with a high emphasis on STR and CON. A1->Ra1->Hun2->Rogue3->Hack1
I’m supplementing my lack of crit with sneak hit and my lack of evasion with Evasion and Laudry (+capture laudry) skills.

Because barrage is counted individual as arrows contributing towards Hacka skills, I feel I can combo towards it with ease. I don’t know yet how well this will perform though. Hunter is just there because of filler (Ranger 2-3 wasn’t important to me and Sap or archer 2-3 take too long to set up out of mount for my taste).

So much! Thanks in advance. It’s great to get info directly from those who’ve personally tried it.

I’ve read somewhere that they changed (some?) Rogue skills (Backstab specifically) to work while mounted. I did try to play around with a Rogue build in the simulator but eventually felt like it just won’t fit my playstyle.

Good luck with that build though. The synergy is there except for Hunter which I don’t know how it’d work out.

Mostly for pvp =P, hunter has unblockable cc, figured i needed something if my cooldowns are up.
