Also I would like to introduce my Druid. http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/8axurhnue1/ . I keep a log on the classes people want to start as, on the forums.
Hey Saviors! What class ye gonna start as, and what advanced class ye aiming for? And why?.
As I’ve noticed there is no one even considering it. I searched all different websites just to find them only metioned once. It was on reddit and the commentor basicly just said ‘Druid class is ■■■■’. But I think it could be viable. The build up to it seems a bit tricky though cause I had multiple ideas. I think this could be a good build though.
I just want to show the Druid class some love!
My original Idea involved Krivis. http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/tpu0oew0ts/ . But after some help from my guildmate Bob Norris, he convinced me to drop Krivis to get Diev which seems to sync more with the build.
No yours doesn’t need to be removed. I would not want that. I like that this idea has others trying it. Also, considering my build isn’t up to date as I like, as in 5 points arn’t where i think they should be. I never considered pyro. It could be a nice add w/ extra dmg. But yeah a main problem for this build is that what after the Trans ends and you’re back to int. But yeah I want other people to test this to save myself the trouble incase it does just end up a bad idea.
Plus Zombies have a fairly short lifespan, you need to raise them up continually for them to work.
EDIT: This info is potentially false.
@Pomez I saw a bokor on a ~+5min video and they still stay alive during all the video, maybe they dissapear when they are out of hp? o.o
I recall seeing a duration time somewhere, but maybe it affects something else. I’ll edit my post since I’m not sure.
I was looking about a Doppel build and I would know if Double Pay Earn is apply on the Doppel only or on the entire party?
Finally got around to updating all the builds!
Once CBT 3 comes around and ends, I’ll be putting CBT 2 builds away (under a spoiler) and opening up the thread to taking CBT 3 and beyond builds.
After that, once our beta’s come out, I’ll be putting popular builds in the OP
I might organize the thread differently (perhaps a table), and separate to PvP/PvE/PvX categories for builds.
I’ll take a crack at this with a few builds.
http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/jneh5979dx/ - Shock Cataphract
The Shock Cataphract is based loosely around the historical Cataphracts of our time, it’s not properly refined due to insufficient information, although I expect that to be a reason behind most theory builds.
The purpose of the Shock Cataphract is just that, hit super hard get out and repeat.
http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/24jp8ibyck/ - Absolute Warrior
The Absolute Warrior is all about engage, engage and engage, no running away, all in or nothing build, suitable to suicidal people.
http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/yh8l1rr3xh/ - Hoplite Variant
The Hoplite Variant was purpose built just because I felt like it, nothing else to it.
Dude have you seen what lvl 15 Trot can accomplish
im not even sure if thats lvl 15 trot but surely +150% movespeed makes me want to take cataphract but the mounts look ugly
I have question, why that ranger skill (barrage) still active when she mounted? according FAQ, we can only use basic attack when mounted companion.
Actually, only certain skills are disabled when mounted. In CBT3, only a select few classes are going to be able to mount companions, but I’m not exactly sure if this will change anything with this specific scenario, as she’s playing SR.
Shock cavalry, specially Cataphracts weren’t known for their speed but for their terrifying charge attacks, besides that I did say there wasn’t enough information for me to properly build that Cataphract.
Also besides that, that’s a Reiter not a Cataphract.
Just a heads up, the person zooming around in that video is definitely a Cataphract. Steparu (the player) is playing a Schwarzer Reiter for sure.
They start coming into the frame right at 4:26, and they run around the left side of the screen for a few seconds, then runs far ahead of Steparu, to the right. They show up and run around several times after this point, helping with the boss and stuff.
After a week of brainstorming I have come up with some Archer class builds. Please feel free to criticize, discuss or contribute.
AoE Build
Focussed on quickly killing large groups of monsters, including some single-target skills. This build completely relies on 2HBow. Of those builds I came up with my least favourite one.
Archer, Ranger (3), Fletcher (2)
- Swift Step, 5
- Multi Shot, 5
- Kneeling Shot, 5
- High Anchoring, 15
- Critical Shot, 10
- Steady Aim, 10
- Bounce Shot, 5
- Spiral Arrow, 5
- Broad Head, 5
- Bodkin Point, 5
- Cross Fire, 10
- Magic Arrow, 5
- Singijeon, 5
PVP Build
Based on Player-controle and DoT/poison. This build implies, that Wugushi Poison does stack. If it does not, this build is useless (as would be Wugushi as a class imho). Switches between Bow and Shield and whatever weapon Wugushi uses.
Archer, Quarrel Shooter (2), Wugushi (3)
- Swift Step, 5
- Fulldraw, 5
- Kneeling Shot, 5
- Deploy Pavise, 5
- Stone Picking, 1
- Stone Shot, 10
- Scatter Caltrop, 10
- Rapid Fire, 3
- Teardown, 1
- Needle Blow, 15
- Bewitch, 10
- Wugong Gu, 10
- Throw Gu Pot, 10
Raid Build
Focus on single-target DPS and survivabilty in Raids and Boss fights. My absolutely favourite build. Switches between 2HBow and Gun and Shield.
Archer (3), Scout, Fletcher, Schwarzer Reiter (Alternatively Archer (3), Scout (2), Schwarzer Reiter)
- Swift Step, 10
- Multi Shot, 15
- Kneeling Shot, 15
- Twin Arrows, 5
- Camouflage, 5
- Flare Shot, 5
- Cloaking, 5
- Broad Head, 5
- Bodkin Point, 5
- Cross Fire, 5
- Concentrated Fire, 5
- Limacon, 5
- Retreat Shot, 5
Well if it isn’t obvious, I’m simply not obsessed with speed as most people such as yourselves are.
hit super hard get out and repeat.
well this is problem, without Trot buff the Cataphract movespeed will only be as fast as other mounted classes which is just slightly faster than normal movespeed.
It won’t be a problem though.
I looked a bit more into the Thaumaturge int swap build and i think there was a mistranlation. It swaps int for vit not for str.
I base this not on my korean (which i have no notion of) but because of two reasons:
1st reason:
http://toswiki.treeofsaviorgame.com/skill/divine_stigma
http://toswiki.treeofsaviorgame.com/skill/transpose
http://tos.nexon.com/news/gos/view.aspx?n4ArticleSN=16
Last link shows what stats people picked up during the beta and from this i understand 정신 is spirit, 체력 is vit, 힘 is strengh, 지능 is int, 민첩 is dex.
If you look at Divine stigmata the korean text has 힘 and 지능 meaning it gives str and int.
If you look at Transpose, 체력 and 지능 are present, meaning vit and int.
2nd reason:
If you look at the illustration video for transpose, the thaumaturge ends up at deaths door not because of the goblin attack, but as soon as the spell was activated, which is probably due to the massive hp boost leaving him almost dead (despise his hp being as they were).
I think this build idea doesn’t work. If you want to go melee you need to invest in str from the get go.
