xD
It’s fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine
I need to go to bed… in 2 hours … as of the latest … when i want to be fully awake tommorow.
To remember all of the hell xD.
Man, I’d wish there was a GM doing the ‘‘Eat Popcorn’’ emote at the begining of Orsha and Klaipeda, looking as teh zerg rush comes in.
xD
That would be evil.
But i will record the fun xD… i only need to remember which was the auto record function of the game. I think F10 … i will just push buttons, till i find it.
iirc it was F12, I remember getting an Steam screenshot every time I used it.
Hope we get something funny like that though, I rememebr that one screenshot of the dev in a box lol.
It would also give the images teh the GMS are, well, there. That they exist because I didn’t see any anywhere in ICBT nor did I see screenshots of them.
pleaes take me home
Ohh what a cute Developer!
Can i take him home with me! Ohh ohh! I want to care for him!
I will always be good!
… naw this works better with cats.
I swear that I heard from a streamer that you can’t use antidotes in pvp anymore, anyone that can confirm? ;o
what manga is this? o.o
Kuso Manga Bukuro 666
I don’t think buffing without nerfing is the best way to balance.
Why?
In a game like this with so many classes, how else can you balance? For someone, a certain class may be the very core of their build, while for others it might not. If you nerf a class, it would hurt the person with it at the core, but not really affect the other person. If other classes so that class is no longer so strong, then the person with that class at their core won’t really be hurt by the changes while the playerbase as a whole benefits from the changes. It makes more people happier and in the long run promotes class growth so more people try more builds as more things become more viable, instead of just giving a bad time to those who had a nerfed class in their build.
The only thing limiting class balance in KToS isn’t fairness, is player entitlement.
It’s not entitlement when entire people’s builds are being ruined. It really is a matter of fairness, why should someone’s hardwork be pretty much thrown down the drain for the sake of another’s? The less powerful classes should have known what they were getting into beforehand.
Well because buffing other classes takes more development time, and there is more room for messing up. Buffing 3 classes to keep balance is harder than nerfing one strong class to keep balance. At the end of the day it’s simply more reasonable.
Players shouldn’t suffer because of the incompetence of the devs.
Is wugushi still useless in PvP? Specifically, Zhendu? I’m not sure if its worth picking up 1 circle of wugushi
the whole archer class is useluss with all the blocking in PvP if you argue like that.
imo if you go Wugushi, just take it if you go at least for rank 2 Wugushi. You dont choose Wugushi for Zhendu.
Don’t bother. Wugushi isn’t worth it for one rank, and as rayuki said the whole archer tree isn’t very good for PvP anyways.
See my post here for what archers don’t have, and why certain classes win in PvP over others:
Your best bet for PvP with an archer would be a class combination with high burst damage, rather than a class with a removeable DoT. But also as I said before, not every class should be able to exceed in PvP. If you choose a certain class you should know whether it is good or bad beforehand.
…why do you think I made this topic?
Nerfing Stone Sking and Bloodletting would most definitively NOT ‘’‘ruin’’ people’s builds, there’s more to their classes than one skill.
But even with that, I’ll give it to you stright and simple.
Stone Skin and Bloodletting, on their current states, are activelly ruining other people’s experience simply because of them deciding to play a class that uses either physical damage or status ailments respectively.
Not every class shines nor is necesarely good in PvP this is true and fine, yet that SHOULD NOT hinder their PvP experience to the point Stone Skin and Bloodletting do, all of the Swordsman, Archer and a chunk of the Cleric tree are straight up destroyed upon the appeareance of a PriestC3 with some SPR.
A good subset of classes such as Cryomancer (Which got properly PvP only nerfed), Rodelero (which is already probably the worst class in the game) and I may be missing others also become useless as soon as a Plague Doctor shows up not to mention Wugushi because topic tittle.
‘‘Oh well they should’ve known’’ yes, that in concept is fine to a degree.
It becomes a problem when it takes literally no skill from the other players to overcome entire class trees, Bloodletting can get 100% uptime with ease, just get Cleric C2 and pop Divine Might.
Stone Skin is straight up ridiculous with the ammount of Block it gives with no downsides, PeltastaC3 (same rank as PriestC3) has to give up unreasonable ammounts of damage (which it already lacks as is) and 10 skill points points to get the equivalent of raw (read no SPR) Lv3 Stone Skin and only for himself, granted they do have an atribute that gives them up to 25% block rate on top, but they still give up 50% of their damage (which for a change actually IS 50% of their total damage) and chunk of their Crit rate if not all of it for an skill with 50% uptime. Stone Skin is a party buff with no downsides that easily gives twice a much block rate as Lv10 High Guard and gets 100% uptime if the Priest player has Chaplain in their build.
Yes Priest is a support class as is Plague Doctor for the most part, but there’s a point where it simply isn’t fair.
Yes Priest is a support class as is Plague Doctor for the most part, but there’s a point where it simply isn’t fair.
And neither is Warlock and the way magic damage cannot be dealt with in this game. I just don’t see why PD and Priest are targeted specifically when many other classes “ruin the fun” for most other classes too.
Instead of touching PD or Priest directly and nerfing them, I think IMC has to figure out some fundamental flaws with the way many skills and buffs work in PvP first. There are underlying issues that need to be sorted out, this isn’t a big enough problem for PD to deserve nerfs, that’ll just make people mad.
If PD is nerfed then Cryo’s and Psycho’s would be unstoppable for example. IMC needs to change many things before doing anything about PD/Priest.
Warlock has heavy cooldowns and hard to hit with skills, if you refer to teh Pole of Agony thing that’s an issue completely unrelated to the class’ balance.
Magic is fine in a basic standpoint, Wizards are squishy or have to heavily give up on their damage for durability, an Archer can easily deal with them.
But this comes with a problem in the curent state of things, if the Wizard has a shield and their group also has a PriestC3, guess what happens?
The Archers, that would easily dispose of the Wizards, become completely useless.
PD makes plenty of classes straight up useless with no real downsides and can achieve 100% uptime with ease, how is this not a problem that makes PD deserve nerfs?
Cryo’s high cooldowns and natural squishiness balances their outstanding CC, Psycho’s need to get in close quarters with the enemy to use theirs properly and thus is a heavy risk-reward that can easily result on them dying and thus they deserve a reward according to this.
What is the risk of Stone Skin?
What is the risk of Bloodletting?
