The wrong way to grow the community?

I know we all can read and saw this already:

  1. Patch Notes
  1. Instance Instability Compensation : Instanced Dungeon Reset Voucher (x5)
    A. The compensation message and items attached will last until 1 AM (EDT) April 9th, 2016.
    B. The message will be deleted after that time making it impossible to retrieve the items.
  2. Monster Respawn Rate : 50% increase on all field zones
  3. Megaphones : Addition of a Lv. 40 restriction to usage

-I would like to see where are all those doomsayers? Mainly about the staff not listening because it took them 2 days(not counting the weekend) to address some of the issues.

What im seeing is that many people overreacted(like others pointed out) over issues that just need time to get fixed. All the flame wars did not make them do something they were not planning to do already, and that is why many felt others were complaining in a selfish way that made them sound like entitled brat(sorry if that offends you).

I dont know if they will fix everything or anything at all, the point is THEY ARE TRYING, and that is enough for me. Since i know there is bound to be issues on game releases like anybody with Google could of figure out before buying into the EA.

I made the post to stop people from believing that the whole flaming, rage posts were the ones that made the staff react, because that is a very bad way to grow a gaming community.

TLDT: Issues were brought to light and put on the “known issues” and are being addressed: wait for it “on maintenance day” like is suppose too. Good job staff keep it up.

Doomsayers can screw themselves. 99% of the ppl saying that ToS is a fail are kids that actually believe money grows on trees and IMC can just make everything nice and free.

Now you look like troll you are, enjoy the fake flag /kiss

Hey the raging works, let’s continue to flame IMC!

Who trolled? Creating misleading titles like this is against the rules, beside Julie just changed ur title if you didn’t do it urself.

Every other issue I understand is a massive workload they have to deal with all in due time. The only problem I am having currently is the way they handled the trading in this game. And if no trading at least a reasonably logical and practical party loot distribution system, I have been playing with my gf and it is very frustrating not being able to get her the items she wants that drop from monsters while we are playing. Also very frustrating that I cannot farm an item she wants while she is off and somehow give it to her when she gets on since she finds the grinding for some rare items excruciatingly boring and tedious and I would like to help her out. Not to mention I plan on becoming alchemist and wanted to help out making items and money for both of us…

^ this is exactly why i made the post, misleading people into thinking flaming threads make gaming staff work harder or faster is just detrimental to the game. Consider how much they have posted about the fact they are sorry plans are not going according to their original vision,

  • People on constructive post suggested a level limit to sever wide shouts, on this patch is being added.
  • they said spawn were to low they are increasing them

what else do you want?

Wrong i did it myself right after you posted the flag. To avoid any staff involvement or derailing.

Lol op you think they will do any fix if we sat nothing?
When the problems made big by the community they do things.
So say thanks to this “doom people”

The thing is a person with negativity in there mind is on equal to bots no matter how much you try to get rid of them they will find some way or some how to come back.

Yes I just compared RMT scum to people who are negative and whiny you happy now? :stuck_out_tongue:

I follow what you mean, what im getting at is that; there is better ways to keep suggestion fresh and bring attention to them without resorting to flaming the staff.

I will rage more to satisfy my frustration from the game.

I don’t really care about the game’s future anymore.

No, i think they will fix the stuff they have noted at “known issues” though. The point I’m making is that, they are fixing the stuff people brought to light before the flame wars happened. In other words all those threads were not necessary.

Hm? When did I flame the staff? I was merely providing what I believe to be a reasonable solution to a significant hindrance to what could make this game that much better. I greatly appreciate the staff’s effort thus far, which is why I place my faith in their competence and fair judgement and hope they will consider such suggestions.

Oh, right, my apologies, it is 3:33 am over here and I actually got a little disoriented as I just posted in multiple threads and just realized my confusion. Haha sorry about the misunderstanding. xP

(Which is why it may seem confusing at my mention of aforementioned solution while that was in my other post haha) Anyways, I am a little curious about something; may I inquire as to the nature of that “/#20characters” thing? xD

Cant post anything under 20 characters. Like just a single emote, at least that what the red warning shows. Personally im not sure
