The Market Debacle

Long story short,

A guy with lots of problems like personal problems and FBI stuff, needed money fast, and instead of getting a job, decides to sell an exploit hack for a game that could break the game and its community under the pretext of saying the game does not care about its players or how the exploit already exists, blaming it on the players who used the hack and the company for players abusing the exploit instead, to which he feigned innocence if the game dies.

Just when IMC is starting to take a turn over to a new leaf, this … really sucks.

Trash is trash no matter where you put it or the story behind it :expressionless:

But why did he need money? What was his case about?

Apparently he needed money for “planes and stuff”.

Still a Better Love Story than Twilight

anyway he have a point, the game is week the staff is a mess and this stuff happen several time per year and not allways its a player/glitcher fault. I told to DrRM who this game its fragile and he said that every game its fragile to, but why only we suffer like this ? because the staff cannot handle this.

are you seriously saying that in this case, its not soriens or the people who exploited and brought the programs fault?

HEY! am a weird mofo and I don’t go around doing that kind of BS and scumbag moves…

I respect the law and the games I play (+ plus all the people in and out of it)…

Don’t pair others with that… ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

It just sucks that an old coot decided to come back and destroy the game after how IMC has, at the very least, started to turn over and make improvements to make the game better, just because he wanted quick money at the expense of the game.

Hopefully, the game can recover from this.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it had something to do with that too, some people can’t see others getting better.

I believe in Karma and everything completes in a circle. What goes around comes around.

If one do something bad and isn’t prosecuted for it, somehow it will catch up in some other way.

People who buy hook64 are financially supporting a criminal
It’s going to be funny when the FBI are knocking at their doors too.

Did IMC really “improved” when hacks happen over and over? Nope! They remain technically incompetent as always.

You are not wrong about karma and circles…

Well he will probably get what he deserves … no big deal … but since all players got tempted to abuse it they probably wont sooo no trust anywere … IMC should have closed all trades at first sight of this problems …
Now the damage is to much to handle…
Can’t really imagine to have still the same fun playing because all the effort in trading and accumulating silver is now worth nothing … And i expect the people who still play from the start beeing robbed of all their achievments after spending a lot of tp and stuff will take it lightly as well.

@4lkruzeth yeah but the sad part is that nothing here is NEWS
hulk64 has been around since beta, 2 years later and it’s still here! one of the reasons i don’t want to come back to TOS. it’s just crazy, but not surprise.

This goes to show the majority still believes hulk65 is an external tool ( techinicaly it is )

Like your addons , hulk65 pull certain functions that are already exist in game. If you don’t understand , just think of it as a black addon.

The only real solution is for IMC to document their advanced functions ( which is for staff to test/ do debugging ) and block it from regular users like the players

I saw the other thread about whatshisname before it got deleted.

I find it interesting that a guy with all his afflictions and supposed problems with the FBI has the time to â– â– â– â–  around on a video game.

Wait, what? Is it true?

Couldn’t catch up the whole story from the original thread. Too much pointless conversation there…

also, this. The story sounds fishy :fish:
