its basicly the same as “excitement” , like how you would say “im excited for the upcoming world cup”, or “im super excited / cant wait for Star Wars ep 8”

When the game still in development there will be a lot of tools, duplicate files on the system. But just before finishing their work Dev have to wipe all of that mess before finalize it. This may be that wipe.
