The gold sellers aren't the ones ruining this game, it's the bots!

Here is the thing, you can NEVER stop gold sellers, ever, they will always be there.

Even if you completely banned ALL trading and removed the Market entirely, they could just sell accounts. And even if you could magically keep accounts from being sold, they could use other methods like customer joining a party and then sitting while bots go around and gain XP and silver.

So how do you stop them? Well, where do they get the silver in the first place?

The bots of course. If you could magically remove all bots, then the gold sellers would have to employ real people to do the grinding, therefore reducing their profits.

It wouldn’t even have to be ALL bots, if you could make a script that could detect even 60% of bots, that would be enough impact.

The gold sellers aren’t killing this game IMC, it’s the bots that are killing the game. They make the silver and they lag the game with their spam and space on the server, focus on destroying the bots instead of trying to get rid of the RMT, which you can’t get rid of anyways.

You say that until there is an army of 20 bots taking the world boss kills and flooding the market with its items making them common and worthless.

What makes you so sure? They can already teleport and have arde daggers. I think they could pull it off.

Nah, world boss is a different story. Unless IMC is not doing anything about the bots, I doubt there will be many bots that can reach the level required for boss hunting.

Bots and Gold seller is not the same thing though, for example, I can bot without being a gold seller.

Its the matter of which side you take - bots/gold sellers or fair players. Steam in this situation should play role also in my opinion… just block cards of bot owners, easy. Account selling isnt that profitable as gold.
Market restriction makes some impact too. I dont really care about that, since that’s save market from hyperinflation (next month new players coming, would be shame to have market with huge pricing…). Plus it gives chance to get materials yourself, then crafted items matters much more to that person.
