The addons are quality of life additions to the game that slipped the minds of the devs when they were making the game it helps make some unbearable crap in the game bearable people who cry about this addon are about as annoying as those fools that say we should stop eating meat because its animal cruelty.

You are correct they said map mod and exp viewer are allowed people crying about it are just salty either because
A) They used that addon that let them use npc anywhere and got banned
or
B) Have friends that used it and got banned
so yeah salty cry babies in the end all smart addon users avoided the obvious exploit type addon

Any kind of public backlash could cause them to change their stance. Remember 3 month early access? I do.
Fact is, this add on gives the user an unfair advantage. This should be comsidered when drafting the “Official statement” on addons.
