Youâre wrong.
a) Maps in diablo 2 were randomized, in TOS theyâre static, so no advantage here
b) Everyone can explore maps by 100% by hugging the walls, so no advantage here
c) You can look at maps at fansites. The IMC staff says that something that allows you to see info ingame that could either be obtained by looking at TOS fansite databases or by memorization is allowed to be displayed via addons.
Also, whatâs the big difference between running around the map via wall-hugging and running around the map via map-fog addon? In both cases you have to run around the entire map and if there is a part of the map that is available only via quest then you still need to do the quest before 100%ing the map. Itâs not like the addon instantly reveals the entire map for you without any walking around.

Hugging walls is a good way to 100% every map. You just have to make sure to go into every small corner and every small area. If you canât 100% a map by wall-hugging then either you did it wrong (forgot some corners/areas) or there is a part of the map you havenât access to yet.

first go to ToSâ ToS(terms of service) or EULA idk which term theyre using.
now look for something like any attempt or acts that alters the game files whatsoever is prohibited, subject to ban or whatever.
now tell the forums they should ban all those people using addons because every single one of them alters game files.

because âgame changingâ is something you incorporate with the likes of /anywhere and market addon. what does the fog addon do? doesnât it only show the parts of the map you havent walked yet? i mean srsly. the exp viewer was way more worthy of being called âgame changingâ than that.
I am not arguing for all add-ons to be removed, only THIS ONE.
Since time is the most precious commodity, this add on is EASILY the most game-changing.

Are you seriously claiming 100% a map by wall hugging takes alot more time than using a map fog addon and this time difference causes that addon to be the most game changing addon possible?
In that case your methods of exploring an area must be terribly inefficient.
Are you randomly choosing a direction and walk in hat direction you hit a wall and then choose another random direction to walk in, even if it means youâd revisit an area you have already explored?
With that method itâd probably take you a month to 100% explore a single map. Sure, in that case a map fog addon is a great advantage.
However as long as you have any decent sense for exploring youâll choose almost the same walking paths than with a map fog addon, thus making the time required to 100% a map almost the same.
